E neXus V's HANAKO and Prominence's Sera Risa face off in a one-on-one match. Before joining Stardom, HANAKO was active under a different name during her student wrestling days and had previously faced Sera of Prominence, who was the inspiration for her ring name. After fighting several times in the Prominence ring, HANAKO made her official professional debut and will now put all her hard work to the test against the current WWWD World Singles Champion, Sera.
HANAKO offers a handshake, which Sera accepts cleanly, and the match begins. After a lock-up, HANAKO drives Sera to the ropes for a break. Sera: "Hello Stardom fans, it's been a while. And HANAKO! Nice to meet you, I'm Sera Risa. Well, I think some of you may already know, but this isn't actually my first singles match... A long time ago, so long ago that I don't even know if anyone remembers it, I had a singles match under a different name, not HANAKO. When I came in, you looked like you were about to cry, so I wondered what would happen, but you've gotten so strong, HANAKO. I didn't expect it to be such a tough fight, and I'm so happy to be able to feel your growth firsthand. However, I've decided to retire on January 12th next year. HANAKO, show me you can surpass Sera by then."
