Having lost the IWGP Women's Championship to Sareee, Shuri will be taking a break from competition after this tournament. Before undergoing physical maintenance, Shuri will face off against her fellow God's Eye stablemate, Ranna Yagami, in a master-apprentice showdown. When Yagami countered, Shuri cornered her and delivered a series of stomps before stomping on her face. Yagami countered with a series of elbows, and Shuri stood up, saying, "Bring it on!" Shuri kicked her down and delivered a series of stomps. Yagami dodged and delivered a dropkick and an armbar. Shuri countered and went for an armbar of her own. "Today I'll be taking a short break from Stardom, but I was able to have a singles match with Ranna today. It was my first time seeing her since her debut, and she's grown so much. Of course, I still have a long way to go to reach the top in Stardom, but I was really happy, and I'm looking forward to the league matches in WAVE and the 5★STAR GP. I'm so grateful to have the members of God's Eye, to have my teammates. Now in my 17th year, I'm blessed with great teammates, and I'm so happy to be a part of such a big organization as Stardom, where so many people can watch my matches. I've had matches with just a few people before, so I really feel fortunate to be in my current environment. I'm taking a break, but I'll do something to surprise you all soon. I have a bit of an injury, so of course I'll get it treated and be in perfect condition to reclaim the IWGP. That's what I'm thinking about, it's all in my mind. So I'll make a full recovery, become a Super Saiyan, and return to this ring, so I hope you'll all support me then."
