Neo Genesis, consisting of Starlight Kid, AZM, and Seira Mei, clashed with Cosmic Angels, consisting of Anno Saori, Mizumori Yuna, and Sakura Aya, in a six-woman tag team match. For Kid and Anno, this was a preliminary match for their upcoming Wonder of Stardom Championship match on July 21st in Sapporo, following their match in Akita the previous day. Also, the day before, Mizumori had once again set her sights on Seira's High Speed Championship, so this match was also one to watch.
Anno prevailed over her partner and came out first. Kid started for Neo Genesis. The match began with a struggle for back control, and Anno dodged Kid's charge. Kid caught Anno's kick. They exchanged lariats and kicks in a stare-down. AZM and Sakura grabbed each other's kicking legs. Sakura dodged AZM's kick and delivered a middle kick. Seira interferes with Sakura's charge, and together with AZM, they pin her with a double dropkick, and Kid joins in for a triple. Kid's chop leaves Sakura writhing in pain, and they take her to the center for a standing moonsault press. Seira corners Sakura and delivers 10 consecutive dropkicks. Mizumori applies a headlock, but AZM counters and attempts a brainbuster. Mizumori endures and charges forward, but AZM stops her and delivers a brainbuster. Seira hits Mizumori with a missile kick. Mizumori retaliates, and Seira counters with a shoulder tackle and a running lariat. Seira counters with a dropkick and kicks Mizumori repeatedly in the face. Mizumori endures and delivers an arm whip and a dropkick. After an exchange of roll-up attempts, Mizumori attempts a Supergirl but it is cut off. After a struggle for the back, Seira goes for a German suplex. Mizumori endures and Sakura delivers a sandwich attack with strikes. Seira separates them and she and AZM exchange high kicks, but Mizumori and Sakura throw them both backward. AZM and Seira retaliate and are down. Anno and Kid enter the ring. Kid delivers a dropkick to Anno's knee. Kid delivers a leg breaker and a dragon screw over the ropes. She goes for a stretch muffler but Anno escapes. Anno attempts a neckbreaker but NeoGen delivers a corner attack. Kozuen cuts in, and Anno applies a modified sickle hold to Kid. However, AZM cuts in. AZM and Seira send Mizumori and Sakura out with dropkicks, and Kid performs a plancha to the outside. Anno is brought back in, and NeoGene delivers dropkicks from three directions, and Kid shouts "I'm not done yet!" and performs a spinning diving body press. Anno kicks out, and Kid goes to the corner. Anno gets up and performs a superplex fisherman suplex, and Kid counters with a fisherman suplex, and Anno does a fisherman suplex as well. Kid kicks out, and Anno gets behind her. Kid counters, but Anno rolls her up. Kid rolls her up in the opposite direction, and when she kicks out, Anno hits a stretch muffler. Anno counters with a German suplex. Anno pulls Kid up and goes for a Tantandol. Seira cuts in with a dropkick, and Kid hits a series of elbows. Mizumori lifted Kid up as she charged, then slammed her down from Sakura's cup, followed by a heel drop from the trio, and Anno's German suplex was cut off, with Anno saying "I got it." Anno pulled Kid up and delivered a Tantandol. The three count came, and Anno defeated Kid.
Anno: "I won! Hey Kid, the more I fought with you, the more I wanted this belt. The Wonder of Stardom belt that shone with me, the Wonder of Stardom belt that holds so many memories and that I love so much, I want to wear it again. I'm going to wear it here."
Kid: "Today, I really wanted to beat Saori. It's frustrating. But I've decided that I'm the one who will make this belt shine the brightest. Now and forever, the Wonder of Stardom Champion is me, Starlight Kid!"
Kid left the ring.
Anno: "Thank you everyone in Aomori (Hachinohe)! I promise, I'll come back to Aomori. When I do, I'll be wearing the belt with Natsumi (Natsupoi). So, this was Anno Saori, the challenger for the Wonder belt in Hokkaido (Sapporo)!"
