The first match began with Akira designating Sakura as the starting wrestler, saying, "Sakura! Please!" After some feeling each other out, Sakura intimidated Akira with a low kick. Akira regained control and went for a headlock to the ground. Sakura countered with a head scissors. Akira escaped and went for the pin, but Sakura countered and went for the cover. Akira kicked out, and Ganjima and Furusawa exchanged elbows. Ganjima took a barrage of blows but prevented Furusawa from making progress. However, Furusawa grabbed Ganjima's arm and applied an armbar. Furusawa attempted a running elbow attack, but Ganjima countered with a dropkick and a brainbuster. Akira cornered Furusawa and unleashed a barrage of strikes, a dropkick from the side, and a face lock. Furusawa escapes and delivers an elbow, but Akira slaps him and taunts him, saying, "Is that all you've got? Come on, give me more." Akira declares he's going for the finish, but Furusawa grabs his arm, twists it, and throws him onto the ropes for a dropkick. Sakura hits Akira with a corner knee kick and a soccer ball kick. Akira retaliates, and Sakura lands a middle kick, but Akira counters with a Kawazu Otoshi followed by a crossface. Sakura escapes, and Akira delivers a dropkick to the face. However, Sakura manages to turn the tables. Akira slams the mat and shouts, "I'm going to finish this!", and goes for a half-hatch, but Sakura resists. Akira kicks Sakura in the face and charges, but Sakura dodges and delivers a thrust kick. Sakura climbs to the corner and lands a missile kick. The rebound sends Akira back to his own corner. Shimajima tags in and delivers a series of dropkicks. Sakura retaliates, and Shimajima gives a warning before getting ready for a body slam. Sakura endures and lands a low kick, then Akira interferes and calls in a hurricanrana and dropkick from Ganshima. Ganshima goes for a body slam and cover, but Sakura kicks out. Ganshima goes for a reverse Boston crab, but Akira kicks him away and goes for a reverse single leg Boston crab. Sakura escapes, then Ganshima charges after a series of stomps, but Furusawa breaks up and Sakura lands a middle kick. Ganshima kicks back, and Sakura lands a spinning kick. Ganshima dodges and rolls her up. Akira breaks up, but Furusawa sends him to the outside. Sakura stops Ganshima's charge and slams him down, then lands a high kick and a spinning kick, pulls him up and lands another high kick. Ganshima can't kick out, and Sakura wins.
Sakura: "Akira, the day after tomorrow at Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling you're going to have a singles match against Yuna for the right to challenge for this junior belt, so you better win."
Akira: "You better win? Of course! The first of our generation to wear a singles belt isn't Yuria, Emma, or Kian, it's Akira!"
Sakura: "I'm looking forward to it."
Akira leaves the ring with Mashima.
Sakura: "Ryuuka is out, so Sakura Ayaha (5★STAR GP) will win by default. But that's not fun, is it? You wouldn't be happy to get a star by default.
