Both men are down. They get up at the eight count and Iida hits a series of reverse chops. After 10 minutes, Sorei stops Iida's charge and slams him to the mat. Iida counters and Sorei hits a Blue Thunder. Iida reverses the cover, and when it's countered, Iidabashi. Sorei reverses and covers, but it's also a two count. Iida dodges the lariat and hits another lariat. Sorei hits a high-angle Blue Thunder. It looked like he'd been hit, but Iida clears. Sorei lifts Iida up and hits him with a thunderbolt. Iida was unable to return the blow, and Sorei secured the victory.
Sorei: "5★STAR GP 4 points! Iida, this is the first time since we last fought before your return, so it's been over a year. Seriously, that chop...it doesn't hurt!
