The match began without a handshake. Sakura stepped forward and called Anno over, unleashing a series of middle kicks. However, Anno countered with a big boot as Sakura charged. When Sakura escaped, Anno delivered a sliding kick to her leg. Anno continued to kick Sakura's legs. Anno blocked Sakura's middle kick and kicked her legs. However, Sakura jumped on and applied a triangle choke. Anno escaped, and Sakura delivered a series of middle kicks, then pulled her up and delivered a knee attack. Anno countered with a big boot. Sakura slammed the mat to get up, dropped Anno, and did a plancha to the outside. Sakura brought Anno back into the ring, cornered her, and delivered a running knee kick, followed by a missile kick from the second base. Shouting "Not yet!", she did a diving knee attack from the top. Anno countered, and Sakura took her back. Anno dodged, dodged a high kick, and went for a German suplex followed by an armbar. Sakura resisted, but Anno broke free and pulled her up. Anno slapped Sakura, who got up and slapped her again, followed by a series of low kicks, and Anno caught her dash, but Sakura resisted. However Anno did a German suplex. Anno pulled her up and did a tantandol. The three count was called, and Anno defeated Sakura.
Anno: "Thank you everyone in Kobe. Sakura, it feels great to be back in the city. It feels great to be in your hometown, it feels great to have friends. I won today, but I think a lot of people have been inspired by Sakura's efforts. Sakura, I think the results of your hard work are proven by this belt (Sendai Girls Junior Championship)."
Anno hands Sakura the belt.
Sakura: "I am the woman who will stand at the top of Stardom in the future! But in today's match, I realized what I'm still lacking to reach the top. I will definitely come back to my hometown of Kobe wearing the Sendai Girls Junior belt and the Stardom belt, so please look forward to it!"
Anno: "You're a reliable girl. Sakura, let's fight for our dreams again starting tomorrow. Thank you everyone in Kobe for today. I will win the 5★STAR GP. So, this is Anno Saori of Stardom and..."
Sakura: "Sakura Aya. See ya!"
"Thank you for coming to the Kobe tournament. I'm really disappointed that I lost my first main event. I was able to see my fellow trainee HANAKO win the main event and close out the show in my hometown of Kyoto just two days ago, so it's even more frustrating. But I'm so incredibly happy to have been able to participate in 5★STAR and to have a singles match against my senior and fellow trainee Saori. I wasn't able to use my high kicks or German suplexes against Saori today, so next time I will definitely use these weapons to defeat her. And once again, I love the city of Kobe. I still haven't been able to tell my parents, who live in Kobe, that I'm a professional wrestler, but I will become a great wrestler so that I can proudly say that I'm a professional wrestler. I will grow even bigger and come back to Kobe again. Thank you."
"When you're in your hometown, you just get energy from it unconditionally. I go back to my parents' house in Shiga to rest, so I'm still not quite used to coming back for work, but my hometown is the best. And Sakura Aya and Kozuen are the best. Next up is Hime Yuria on the 16th at Yokohama Budokan, my final match. There'll be a bit of a gap, but I'll be fighting in Actwres girl'Z on the 13th and in Yumiko Hotta's 40th anniversary show on the 15th. Am I tired? That's me."
