Reconstruction relief funds donated to Ishikawa Prefecture Governor Hiroshi Hase
This tournament is being held to support the recovery efforts following the Noto Peninsula earthquake. Before the matches, Ishikawa Prefecture Governor Hiroshi Hase appeared to the tune of his New Japan Pro-Wrestling theme song. Stardom President Taro Okada presented him with 500,000 yen in relief funds, which consisted of the proceeds from the sale of special tournament clear files and a portion of the tournament's sales. Governor Hase lightly chopped President Okada upon receiving the donation and expressed his gratitude to both him and owner Takaaki Kitani, who was also in attendance
Governor Hase: "Thank you very much. Hello. There are a lot of people here! More than New Japan Pro-Wrestling? The Stardom wrestlers seem very motivated today, and I would be grateful if you could continue to cooperate in order to send out even more diverse cultures (from Ishikawa Prefecture). So, I have a big hurdle to overcome next spring, but if I can somehow get through that, I will be in this ring... in this ring... in this ring! If I say anything more than that I'll get in trouble again (laughs). My condition is perfect! However, above all, the disaster-stricken areas are still in the process of recovery and reconstruction. God's Eye, consisting of Saki Kashima, Ami Sorei, Lady C, and Tomoka Inaba, faces off against Cosmic Angels, consisting of Natsupoi, Yuna Mizumori, Aya Sakura, and Sayaka Kurei, in an all-out 8-person tag team match. Will Kashima's tricky fighting style determine the outcome?
Sakura volunteers to be the first to enter the ring, saying, "I'll go!" Tomoka comes out for God's Eye. They intimidate each other with kicks and strikes, and Tomoka takes the match to the ground with a neck lock. Sakura counters, and Tomoka gets back up with a headlock. Sakura counters with a dropkick, but Tomoka dodges it. They exchange kicks and stare each other down. Kurei and Kashima enter the ring. Kashima dodges a dropkick and then forcibly pulls Kurei into an embrace. Kurei pushes her away and dodges Kashima's charge. Lady C forcibly tags in and heads towards Kurei. Lady sends Kurei flying with a shoulder tackle, then performs a 10-rotation giant swing. Kurei retaliates with a series of elbows. Lady takes the hits and takes Kurei down in one blow. However, Kurei follows up with a dropkick and a diving elbow attack. Mizumori drops Lady, but Tomoka interferes. Mizumori drops Tomoka, elbows Kashima, then hits Tomoka, Lady, Kashima, and Lady in succession with lariats, and then chokes Lady with a guillotine. Natsupoi drops Lady, but Lady anticipates the second one and sends her flying with a shoulder tackle. Sorei follows with a shoulder tackle and takes her back. Natsupoi counters and they exchange elbows. Natsupoi is writhing in pain from Sorei's reverse chop. Natsupoi lands a series of elbows, and Sorei lands a body attack. Natsupoi dodges and applies a modified Manji hold. Sorei makes an escape, but Natsupoi kicks her right arm and delivers a dropkick. She climbs to the corner, but Tomoka stops her. Sorei catches a body attack and slams her to the mat. However, Natsupoi retaliates and passes to Sakura. Sakura delivers a series of dropkicks to Sorei, then signals and prepares for a suplex. Sorei resists, and Natsupoi sends her flying with a shoulder tackle and goes for an Argentine backbreaker. God's Eye supports Sorei with a submission hold, and Kashima clings to Kurei. Sorei corners Sakura and delivers a body attack and a lariat. Kozuen attacks Sorei in combination, and Sakura applies a triangle choke. However, God's Eye breaks it up. Tomoka interferes with Sakura's charge, and after kicks from Kashima and Lady, Sorei slams her to the mat. 10 minutes have passed. Sakura kicks out, and Sorei declares she's going for the finish and attempts a Blue Thunder. Sakura counters and applies a triangle choke. Sorei lifted Sakura up and cornered her, then delivered a spear lariat. She threw another lariat, but Kurei managed to break it up. In the ensuing scramble, Sorei delivered a brainbuster to Sakura. It looked like she had it in, but Sakura's shoulders rose. Sakura rolled up, but it was broken up. Lady and Sorei worked together with shoulder tackles to separate Sakura and Kurei. They double-hoisted Sakura up and delivered a back drop, and Sorei hit a Blue Thunder for the three count.
Sorei: "Hello everyone who came to the Kanazawa, Ishikawa tournament! Stardom is back in Ishikawa Prefecture for the first time in a year. This time it's a Noto Peninsula Earthquake relief tournament, and as someone who experienced the Great East Japan Earthquake, it might be presumptuous to say that I feel the same way, but I think it's permissible to some extent.
