Hina will be defending her Future of Stardom title for the eighth time. Her challenger is HANAKO, but the champion has had the advantage in the preliminary matches up to this point. For HANAKO, who is also the NEW BLOOD tag team champion, this bout will be a chance to win her first singles title and become a double champion. Will she get revenge on Hina and take the Future belt? Or will Hina be able to defend her title and become the third woman to achieve double-digit title defenses, following her sisters Hanan and Rinan?
The gong rings and they slowly take steps forward. They lock up and Hanako pushes her to break the lockup. They test their strength again, with Hanako pushing her again. They exchange elbows and grab each other's hair. Hina applies a headlock and Hanako throws her into the ropes, but Hina hits a dropkick, knocking her away with a shoulder. Hanako drives Hina to the ropes and stomps on her face. She tries to slam her down with a body slam, but Hina counters. Hanako applies a reverse crab hold, but Hina escapes. Hanako taunts, saying "Bring it on," and Hina hits an elbow, but Hanako hits a series of stomps. Hina counters with a neckbreaker and a dropkick. She threatens to go for a body slam, but gets slammed back instead. Hina dodges the repeated attempts and goes for the STF. Hanako escapes and hits an elbow, but Hina retaliates with an exchange of elbows. Hina doesn't let her run, and Hina pulls her hair, landing more elbows. Hina whips her into the corner and prepares for a hip sweep. Hina holds on and runs, but Hina hits an elbow and a hip sweep. Hina's dash is stopped and Hina does a backflip. Both get up from down positions and exchange elbows while kneeling. Hina is on top and hits multiple elbows. Hina flips over and retaliates. Hina returns and hits multiple elbows, then picks her up and charges forward. Hina stops her and gets into a Shirasagi position, not letting her escape, takes her back, lifts her up and slams her backwards. Hina goes for an Argentine position, but Hina rolls her up and applies an STF. Hina somehow manages to escape. Hina tries to throw, but Hina blocks it. After being thrown off the rope, Hanako hits a big boot, but Hina slams her down with an STO. Hina goes to the corner, but Hanako catches up and hits a big boot from below, then an avalanche brainbuster. She tries to go for a series of locomotion style hits, but Hina also hits a brainbuster. 10 minutes have passed. Hina goes for a modified jackhammer, but Hanako raises her shoulders. Hina then applies an STF and a facelock. When Hanako escapes, Hina goes to the corner and shouts, "It's over!" and hits a mud splash. However, Hanako cuts off with a sword mount. Hanako spins around from the Shirasagi and slams her down. 2 minutes left. Hina counters, but Hanako hits an Argentina. Hina counters and applies a Gedo Clutch. Hanako counters with a lariat and a powerbomb. It looked like she was in, but Hina counters. Hanako hit a JP Coaster, but Hina was unable to counter and the three count was made
HANAKO: "I beat Hina! I wanted this belt so badly, even before I joined Stardom. No matter how many times I tried, I always lost just one step away, and it was almost the last minute. At first, Hina and I were physically different, so I thought maybe I could have a future. But Hina is so strong, so painful, and so sharp with words, that I nearly gave up during this preliminary match. But I never wanted to give up. Because I refused to give up, I was able to take this belt from Hina. Thank you for fighting for this belt."
Hina: "HANAKO, not only was Hanako big, she was also incredibly strong. We argued a lot before the match and I think it broke Hanako's spirit a little, but I'm really glad I got to fight her in this ring today with that belt. I'm really frustrated that I lost the belt now, and there are some things I could have done better, but I was glad to see Hanako's lively face today. I'm really happy to have met the professional wrestler Hanako. Thank you."
After shaking hands and hugging, Hina exits the stage. Sakura Aya appears
Sakura: "HANAKO, congratulations on the future you've been so keen on. If you become the champion, I'm the first one to challenge you."
HANAKO: "Hey hey hey, I thought it was NEW BLOOD (tag team) but it's Future. Your infidelity is still alive and well. You're the one who told me to focus on one thing."
Sakura: "That's one thing, but this is a different matter. If you were the one to wear it, then there's no one else who could have won it! I've been in more other organizations than any of my peers, and I've even won the Senjo Junior belt. But, having seen so many different rings, I think the Stardom ring is the best. I think the fights at Stardom are the best! That's why I want results at Stardom. I'm not going to play someone else's foil, hold back, or wait my turn anymore. I'll take this belt from you and become the ace!"
HANAKO: "Yes, I'll do it. If I'm going to do it, I want to do it quickly. It was written in Number, but it seems you'll be appearing at the China tournament (New Japan & Stardom joint event on October 5th in Guangzhou, China). I'm not going either. But the card for the two of us hasn't been decided yet. So, shall we fight for this belt?"

HANAKO: "Let's do it!"
Sakura: (To President Taro Okada) "Please hold our title match in China. Everyone will come, right?!"
HANAKO: "Well, I'll be waiting for you in China. Hurry up and go home! Don't forget your passport!"
Sakura exits
HANAKO: So, now that I'm a Future Champion, I also have the NEW BLOOD tag belt with Tsukiyama. I'm fully prepared to become a leader not only for the young wrestlers at Stardom, but for the entire world of professional wrestling, so you all should follow me!

There's not much time left until now, but I want to fight with the Stardom girls, as well as with people outside of Stardom, and with people overseas, and I want to expand the world of Future. That's what I want to do. First of all, Sakura Araya. I absolutely had to fight her, and it seems like Sakura felt the same way, so I want to defend the belt thoroughly in China and come back to Japan. Sakura, I have no intention of losing to you right now. I'll win."
