Sareee successfully defended her IWGP Women's Championship in ROH, USA, while Syuri defeated Alex Windsor in a title match in England, returning to Japan to fulfill her promise to Syuri. A surprise IWGP Women's Championship match between Sareee and Syuri has been announced for New Japan Pro-Wrestling's October 13th Ryogoku event. This will be Sareee's first appearance in New Japan, and she will be wearing the IWGP belt, but this match will serve as a preliminary bout leading up to the title match. Syuri, aiming to reclaim the title, will team up with Hinami and Ranna Yagami as the God's Eye, while Sareee will return to Korakuen Hall with ChiChi and Miku Kano as a trio. What kind of tactics will these two employ as they prepare for their decisive battle in just three days? Also, this is a revenge match for Hinami and Yagami, who were defeated by Sareee in the 5★STAR GP official match.
Sareee and Shuri stare each other down as they hold up their belts. When both win the first move, ChiChi and Yagami come in to intervene. The match starts with Yagami and ChiChi. Yagami intimidates ChiChi with a low kick and they lock up. They exchange elbows, and Yagami lands a series of kicks, a low kick followed by a series of middle kicks. ChiChi retaliates with a flying body scissors drop. Kanou jumps on Yagami and goes for a dropkick. Yagami retaliates with a dropkick to Kanou. Shuri lands a series of soccer ball kicks on Kanou. However, Sareee breaks it up. Hinami lands three consecutive body slams on Kanou. Kanou retaliates with a series of elbows, which Hinami accepts. Kanou lands a dropkick and ChiChi lands a big boot. Sareee follows up with a dropkick and a fisherman suplex. When Hinami counters, Sareee sends her flying with a missile kick. However, Shuri breaks up the pin. Sareee kicks Hinami in the face. Hinami slams Sareee with a hip throw and hands her off to Shuri. Shuri hits Sareee with a dropkick, knee, and a front neck chancery drop. As Shuri climbs to the corner, Sareee catches up and hits a headbutt and a superplex. Shuri quickly gets up and hits a knee attack. Sareee endures and they exchange elbows.
Shuri hits a knee attack and a codebreaker, and Sareee hits a foot stomp and a diving foot stomp. Kanou hits Shuri with a series of dropkicks and elbows, and a diving body attack. Shuri counters and goes for an armbar. Sareee breaks up the pin and sets up a suplex on Shuri. Shuri endures, but Sareee slams her down with a powerbomb. Kanou rolls her up, but Shuri kicks out. Kanou lands a series of elbows, Hinami a dropkick, Yagami and Hinami a neckbreaker, and Shuri a PK. However, ChiChi successfully breaks it up. Kanou is lifted up by Shuri and counters for a roll-up. 10 minutes have passed. Shuri goes from an armbar to an armlock. Suzaku locks her on the ground and Kanou gives up.
Shuri: "On October 13th, I'll be in the New Japan Pro-Wrestling ring for the IWGP Women's Title match, so please look forward to it."
Sareee: "Of course. Shuri, I have absolutely no intention of losing to you. I am the symbol of the IWGP Women's title, now and in the future. I'll prove it to you, so look forward to it."
