E neXus V's Rice or Bread, Tsukiyama Waka & HANAKO, will face Cosmic Angels' Sakurara, Sakura Aya & Kurei Sayaka, for the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Championship. This will be the champions' fifth title defense. Three days ago at the Korakuen Hall event, Tsukiyama challenged Seira Mei for the High Speed Championship but failed to win the title, missing her chance to hold two titles. Her partner, HANAKO, holds two titles, including the Future of Stardom Championship, but the two will have to wait to become double champions together. Nevertheless, they are determined to defend the NB Tag Team Championship. The challengers, Sakura & Kurei, are well-prepared for this challenge. Sakura is currently without a title, but is a former Sendai Girls' Junior Champion, and Kurei is this year's Cinderella Tournament winner. Can these two take the belts and bring a new landscape to NEW BLOOD, or will the champions build an even longer reign? This tag team championship match will have a big impact on the future of NB.
Natsupoi and Mizumori Yuna are at ringside as Sakura's seconds and welcome her into the ring. Both teams walk to the center of the ring and glare at each other, with HANAKO and Sakura engaging in a stare-down. Tsukiyama volunteers to go first, and Kurei comes out. They start with an arm lock, and Kurei applies a headlock. Tsukiyama throws her into the ropes, but Kurei dodges her lariat and delivers a dropkick. Tsukiyama resists, and Kurei holds her against the ropes and delivers a dropkick to her back. Tsukiyama kicks out, and Kurei charges, but Kurei delivers a cross body. HANAKO delivered a shoulder tackle to Kurei, then hit Sakura who came out, and Kurei body slammed Sakura. When Kurei kicked out, HANAKO applied a reverse Boston crab, but Kurei escaped. Tsukiyama hit Kurei with a series of hip butts. When Kurei kicked out, she reversed in the corner and delivered a diving elbow attack. Sakura delivered a corner attack, followed by a soccer ball kick and then a triangle choke. When Tsukiyama escaped, Sakura delivered a low kick and a body slam. Kurei hit Tsukiyama with a series of corner dropkicks and an elbow attack. When Tsukiyama kicked out, Kurei applied a sleeper hold, but Tsukiyama reached the ropes. Tsukiyama countered Kurei's brainbuster attempt with a series of elbows. As Tsukiyama charged, Kurei elbowed her, and Tsukiyama responded with an elbow followed by a hip attack. HANAKO hits Kurei with a big boot, then corners her and delivers a running body attack. However, Kurei raises her shoulder. HANAKO attempts a brainbuster, but Kurei dodges and jumps in for a sleeper hold. HANAKO gets up and corners her again. Kurei dodges her charge and delivers a running dropkick. HANAKO catches a spear, but with Sakura's assistance, Kurei jumps in for a sleeper hold. HANAKO tries to get up, but Kurei takes her to the ground. HANAKO manages to reach the ropes. HANAKO responds to Kurei's charge with a shoulder tackle. Kurei dodges a knee drop and delivers a Violet Shooting. Sakura hits HANAKO with a dropkick and a series of middle kicks. HANAKO grabs Sakura, but Sakura takes her back. HANAKO breaks free and Sakura goes in with an elbow. Ten minutes have passed. After an exchange of elbows, HANAKO knocks Sakura down with a series of blows. Sakura jumps up from below and applies a triangle choke. HANAKO lifts her up and slams her into the corner, then charges in for a running attack. Sakura dodges and Kurei delivers a dropkick, followed by a diving knee attack from Sakura. HANAKO kicks out, but Sakura pulls her up and delivers a low kick, then a combination of kicks followed by a charge, which HANAKO stops and delivers a body slam, Tsukiyama delivers a cross body, and HANAKO does a standing body press. Sakura kicks out, and HANAKO drops Tsukiyama. With an assist from Kurei, Sakura pulls the ropes and drops HANAKO out of the ring, and Sakura and Kurei jump out of the ring as well. HANAKO delivers a brainbuster to Sakura outside the ring. Tsukiyama soars from the corner to the outside with a plancha. HANAKO lifts Tsukiyama up and drops her onto Sakura once more. Sakura countered, and HANAKO declared she was going for the finish, going for an Argentine backbreaker. She tried to go for the JP Coaster Coaster, but Sakura countered with a series of roll-ups. Sakura rolled her up, but Tsukiyama broke it up. HANAKO hit Sakura with a lariat as Sakura charged. Sakura countered, and 15 minutes had passed. HANAKO went for an Argentine backbreaker on Sakura, but Sakura countered and got behind her. Elbows were exchanged, and Sakura dodged, but Kurei hit a missile kick, and Kurei hit a missile kick of her own. However, HANAKO managed to counter.
