E neXus V split into two teams, Maika & HANAKO and Gina & Rian, for a tag team showdown between teammates. Maika and Gina have just returned from a long absence, while HANAKO and Rian are in a preliminary match ahead of their Future of Stardom Championship match.
Maika and Gina shake hands. Gina and Rian talk to each other for a while, and then Rian comes out. The match starts with Rian and HANAKO. Rian hits a dropkick followed by a series of elbows. HANAKO hits a hair whip, and after taking a dropkick from Rian, she gets up and hits her with a series of body slams. Maika follows up with a body slam on Rian. HANAKO hits Rian with a body slam and then a reverse Boston crab. Rian escapes, and HANAKO hands her to Maika. Maika stands firm against Rian's series of elbows. Rian hits a stunner and a dropkick. Gina delivers a shoulder tackle to Maika. She also attempts one on HANAKO, but HANAKO withstands it. Gina delivers a series of blows, then feigns another but catches HANAKO, and with an assist from Rian, delivers a modified DDT to both of them, including Maika. Gina dodges Maika's charge, grabs her arm, and rolls her up. She then slams Maika's head into Rian's outstretched leg. Gina delivers a back kick, but Maika anticipates it and delivers a shoulder tackle. Maika instructs HANAKO to stick out her leg, just like Rian had done, and slams Gina's forehead into it. HANAKO enters the ring and delivers a body attack, a shoulder tackle, and a knee drop to Gina. Rian delivers a dropkick to HANAKO. HANAKO refuses to be thrown, stops the hurricanrana, and prepares for a powerbomb. Rian escapes, and Gina delivers a lariat, Rian delivers a dropkick, and a crossbody. HANAKO stopped the second attack and went for a backbreaker. When Rian countered, HANAKO reversed the clinging Rian and locked in a reverse Boston crab. HANAKO didn't let Rian escape and tightened the hold in the center. However, Gina made a successful break. Maika and HANAKO exchanged body attacks and big boots. When Rian countered, HANAKO went for a brainbuster. Rian countered and went for a sleeper hold. HANAKO cornered HANAKO, but Rian jumped on her and went for a sleeper hold. HANAKO cornered HANAKO again, but Rian went for a hurricanrana and then a sleeper hold on the ground. She went for a body lock, but HANAKO escaped to the ropes. Rian climbed to the corner, but Maika stopped her and HANAKO went for a big boot and a brainbuster. However, Rian managed to counter. HANAKO announced her finishing move and went for an Argentine backbreaker. Rian rolled up her opponent repeatedly. She stopped HANAKO's charge and rolled her up with an assist from Gina. HANAKO hit a big boot, and a lariat on the standing Rian. When Rian kicked out, HANAKO hit an Argentine backbreaker into a JP Coaster. Rian couldn't kick out, and HANAKO won.
HANAKO: "There's exactly one week left until the NEW BLOOD Future match on December 25th. Well, this is the difference between you and me right now. Do you understand? As you said, it would be really embarrassing to lose to Rian right now! In the next week, I said at the press conference that I would do it out of pity for you. I said that I would do it out of pity, but don't let it take on a different meaning than what I meant by pity. Spend this week facing yourself, and if you really want this Future title, you'd better come at it with all your might."
Rian lunged at him.
Maika: "That's great, great, great, great, great! Wow, it makes me happy to watch. Rian is working so hard right now that I could watch her forever. But I'm sure Hanako understands that just working hard isn't enough, and I'm looking forward to the Future Championship match, but I'm getting so much inspiration from watching all the fierce competition in Stardom. So, I'd like to take on Team 200kg too! I don't know if she's listening, but I'll be waiting for you at the Korakuen Hall event next week (December 24th)!"
