When Furusawa kicked out, Mashiro delivered a series of body slams and went for consecutive cover attempts. Furusawa kicked out and delivered a dropkick, then warned and prepared for a body slam. Mashiro resisted and charged forward, but was hit with a barrage of dropkicks. When Mashiro kicked out, they exchanged elbows. Furusawa dodged Mashiro's dropkick and applied an ankle lock. Furusawa escaped and placed Mashiro's left leg on the ropes and delivered a dropkick. After an exchange of roll-up attempts, Mashiro landed a high kick. She went for a roll-up, but Furusawa couldn't kick out and the referee counted to three
