After HANAKO, Tsukiyama Wakana, and Rian challenged for the Artist of Stardom Championship, HANAKO nominated her E neXus V stablemate Rian as the next challenger for her Future of Stardom Championship. However, HANAKO nominated Rian "out of pity." It was a humiliating decision for Rian, but as they continued to have preliminary matches, Rian grew closer to HANAKO. In the final preliminary match, with the help of Maika, Rian managed to pin HANAKO directly. Will Rian seize the belt in one fell swoop, or will HANAKO use her size advantage to defend it? Rian delivers a dropkick and climbs to the corner, but HANAKO catches up to her. After an exchange of elbows, Rian delivers a series of blows, and HANAKO lands a big boot from below. Rian goes to the apron. HANAKO attempts a brainbuster over the ropes. Rian counters with a stunner. Rian attempts a diving body attack from the corner again. HANAKO kicks out, and Rian screams and jumps on her. HANAKO pushes her away and lands a big boot, followed by a brainbuster. Rian kicks out, and HANAKO goes for an Argentine backbreaker. JP Coaster landed and a dropkick was delivered. HANAKO caught Rian's crossbody and shook her with a Shirasagi. Rian dodged and jumped on for a sleeper hold. 10 minutes had passed. Rian did a reverse strike but only got a two count. Rian kicked out and unleashed a flurry of elbows. HANAKO charged in but Rian countered with a lariat, and Rian rolled her up from below. Even when she kicked out, Rian continued to roll her up. She even used the ropes to roll her up but only got a two count. 3 minutes remaining. HANAKO countered with a lariat. She pulled Rian up and delivered an Argentine backbreaker followed by a JP Coaster. Rian took the full force of the hit and couldn't kick out, and HANAKO successfully defended her title.
HANAKO: "Hey Rian, you've done well. That's what I wanted. But you know, I need you to be able to do at least this much on a regular basis. Don't lose to any more of the lower ranks.
