Natsuko and Ruika appeared before the match
"The first main event of the new era is just a 3-way tag match without H.A.T.E., how boring! It's not worth watching!" (Ryuuka) "So we at BMI2000 have thought of something. As a New Year's gift from BMI2000, the winning team of the next match will get a shot at the Goddess belts that we hold. Is that okay? You struggling babyfaces, please do your best!" (Natsuko)
This was accepted, and the match became a battle to determine the next challenger. Kanou and Amasaki volunteered to start, and Koguma also came out to begin the match. They felt each other's height, and just as they were about to get into a hand-to-hand grappling stance, Koguma did a bear pose. Amasaki refused, saying "Goddess is on the line," but Koguma pressed on with a bear pose, saying "It won't start unless you do the bear pose, right?" Amasaki hesitantly did the pose. Kanou backed down. As Amasaki responded with the pose, Sareee came in saying "Don't mess with me," but Koguma and Amasaki threw her out of the ring. Amasaki rolled up Koguma. AZM and Amasaki teamed up, but Hazuki stopped them and they went for a face wash with Koguma. However, Sareee and Kanou stopped them with a double dropkick and delivered a series of double dropkicks to Amasaki. Amasaki retaliated, and AZM blocked Kanou's dropkick, resulting in a dropkick showdown between Amasaki and AZM. AZM hits Kanou with a body slam and a series of soccer ball kicks. As AZM corners Kanou in the Neo-Generation corner, Koguma comes in and delivers a chop. Hazuki follows up with a chop to Kanou. When Kanou retaliates, Hazuki delivers a body slam. Sareee slips past AZM and Amasaki and delivers a diving body attack, then a missile kick to Koguma and Hazuki. Sareee and Hazuki exchange elbows. Amasaki tries to break it up but is thrown out of the ring. Hazuki hits Sareee with a brainbuster, a senton, and a kick to the back of the head. Sareee kicks out and Hazuki delivers a dropkick from the side, and another dropkick. Amasaki goes for the cover but Sareee breaks it up and calls Hazuki in for a double throw. Amasaki hits Hazuki with a DDT and then a back suplex to Sareee. AZM and Sareee exchange elbows. Hazuki jumps on them all at once, but Sareee and AZM stop her and deliver clotheslines. Hazuki dodges and Koguma delivers a diving body attack to them all. Sareee hits Koguma with a missile kick. Kanau hits AZM with a running dropkick. They also hit Koguma alternately. Koguma and AZM team up, but Kanau delivers a body attack to them all at once. Kanau delivers a series of elbows to Koguma and AZM, and Koguma and AZM roll up Kanau. Kanau kicks out and rolls them all up at once. AZM slips past AZM and Koguma and delivers a brainbuster to Kanau. However, Sareee cuts in AZM with a German suplex. Sareee and Kanau double head to the corner, but are dropped, and AZM grabs Kanau, while Tensaki grabs Sareee. Sareee slams Kanau into AZM and they deliver a combined body press. 10 minutes have passed. Sareee and AZM attack Tensaki, but they both get hit with a DDT. AZM and Tensaki double into the corner. Sareee gets up and tries to do a superplex on both of them. Hazuki and Koguma come in and slam them both down. Hazuki and Koguma fly to the outside. Tensaki also does a plancha to the outside. Kanou is brought back in, and AZM and Tensaki hit a double DDT. AZM does a buzzsaw kick, but Hazuki manages to break it up. Sareee powerbombs AZM. Sareee and Kanou double diving foot stomp on AZM. Tensaki hits Sareee with a modified DDT. Kanou and AZM are in the ring. Kanou stops AZM's charge and rolls him up. AZM reverses and does an Azumi Sushi. Kanou reverses. AZM countered, kicking Kanou's arm upwards with a high kick, but Kanou endured and rolled her up. AZM countered again with an armlock, and Koguma and Hazuki were hit with DDTs by Tensaki. AZM locked in Kanou's arm. Sareee tried to break it up, but Kanou gave up. AZM was victorious
AZM: "Hey, wait a minute, Sareee. I'm sorry to tell you this so late, but I hate you too! Are you upset? In this Goddess (challenger determination match), I'm going to crush Sareee. And I've earned the right to challenge for the Goddess title! Hey, BMI2000, you guys set the rules, so I can't complain. Alright, let me challenge you on January 10th at Korakuen Hall."
Natsuko: "Ugh... It's not a matter of 'it's okay.' We're saying we'd be happy to do it for you."
AZM: "Listen to what people are saying, you idiot. I told you to let me try."
Natsuko: "So, you think you can win with a half-hearted submission hold like you did today? A half-hearted DDT won't work on us either."

AZM: "We won the 3-Way Tag Team Championship. Not a good start. The right to challenge for the Goddess of War was on the line, and my opponent was Sareee. I should have said this when Sareee first arrived, but I felt like now wasn't the right time. But this year I've stopped worrying about what others think, so I'll say it proudly. I hate Sareee. It's AZM who's going to beat you one day. Just you wait. And I won the match for the title shot, so the challenge is set for January 10th at Korakuen Hall.
