STARS, consisting of Saya Iida and Momo Mukougo, will join forces with the foreign team of Alex Windsor and Olympia to clash with God's Eye, consisting of Akari, Saki Kashima, Ranna Yagami, and Koryu Seika. Led by God's Eye, Akari defeated Saya Kamitani at the New Japan Pro-Wrestling Tokyo Dome on January 4th to defend her IWGP Women's Championship and capture the STRONG Women's Championship, making her triumphant return to her home ring as a double champion. This match will also feature a match against Alex, with whom she competed in a title match in the UK. Will there be a replay of her IWGP match overseas?
Yagami and Olympia start the match. Olympia withstands Yagami's dropkick, but is hit with a middle kick. Olympia powerslams Yagami. Olympia and Iida combine to lift Yagami up, lift her up, do repeated bends, and slam her down with a body slam. The Iida team performs a series of dropkicks. When Yagami returns, Mukaigo goes for a suplex. Yagami holds on and dodges a charge, then hits a thrust high kick followed by a dropkick. Koryu hits a thrust side kick, soccer ball kick, armpit hold, and armbar on Mukaigo. Mukaigo applies an armbreaker followed by a swan dive missile kick. Alex hits Koryu with a series of elbows, pins him to the ropes and hits a series of chops and a dropkick. Koryu hits a brainbuster and a middle kick. Akari drops Alex and hits a thrust knee. Alex hits an elbow, and Akari hits back with an elbow, saying, "It's been a while!" Akari hits a knee, Alex hits a lariat, blocks the charge and hits a powerbomb. Akari blocks a scorpion hold attempt and hits a series of knees. Akari dodges Alex and delivers a knee attack. As Iida enters, Kashima enters the ring and they attempt roll-ups. Iida gets the three count with an Iidabashi.
Kashima: "I'm tired. I'm pretty tired. I'm not strong enough, so I'll be retiring in Yokohama in April. That means I'm heading home. Thanks for all your hard work!"
