The Goddesses of Stardom champions, Tora Natsuko and Ryuka, were challenged in a 3-way tag team match at Shinjuku on January 3rd, and the winners of that match were Neo Genesis' AZM and Amasaki Mitsuyoshi. 02line had a poor record in the tag league, but they couldn't let this unexpected opportunity go to waste. Will they seize this chance to win the tag team championship for the first time as a pair? Or will BMI2000 successfully defend their title for the fourth time? This match will be a predictor of the tag team scene this year.
As the belts were returned, the challengers launched a surprise attack from behind. They hit Natsuko with a double dropkick, and AZM kicked her up with a PK. Amasaki hit Natsuko with a corner elbow attack and a series of dropkicks. Natsuko pulled the ropes to go outside, and Ryuka pulled AZM's leg from below the ring, continuing the fight outside. Ruanka kicks out and hits AZM with a feint punch, a cross body as he charges, and a face lock. AZM escapes, but Ruanka hits another cross body. AZM kicks out and lands an elbow, and Ruanka retaliates. AZM counters Ruanka's fisherman suplex and applies an armlock. Natsuko and Ruika hit AZM with lariats. AZM hits a high kick, and when Ruika withstands it, AZM goes for a Numero No, but gets hit with a brainbuster. AZM and Ruika are down. Amasaki hits Natsuko with a dropkick and tries for a DDT, but Natsuko stops her and slams her down, then hits a senton. Amasaki dodges and hits a dropkick, then applies a submission hold. Natsuko tries to break free, but Amasaki keeps the hold. Amasaki dodges Natsuko's charge and hits AZM with a kick from both sides, then a double dropkick in the corner. Amasaki hits Natsuko with a DDT. Ruika interferes with Amasaki's charge, and Natsuko and Ruika try to combine, but Amasaki hits them both with a DDT. AZM tries to jump over the ring post, but Natsuko stops him. Natsuko takes an elbow smash, AZM a high kick, and Tensaki a double shoulder tackle, but AZM hits them all with a missile kick. Tensaki and AZM exchange throws. Everyone is down. Tensaki helps Natsuko up and gets into position for the Tensei. Natsuko counters with a lariat, Tensaki dodges and hits a swinging DDT, shouting "I got you!" and hitting Amanohashidate. However, Ruanka interferes. AZM and Tensaki go for Natsuko, but Ruanka hits them both with lariats. Natsuko and Ruanka exchange corner attacks. They also simultaneously attempt a dive from the corner. However, it is dodged and Tensaki hits Amanohashidate. But it is countered at the last moment.
Tensaki lifts Natsuko and hits a DDT. Natsuko counters, and 15 minutes have passed. AZM and Tensaki hit Natsuko with DDTs. Tensaki hits Natsuko with the Tensei. However, the referee's leg is pulled by the seconds. Ryuka's box attack was blocked, and AZM targeted Ryuka, while Tensaki targeted Ryuka with Tensho. However, they were hit with poison mist and a lariat. Natsuko and Ryuka attacked Tensaki with kicks from both sides, Ryuka hit a German suplex, and Natsuko hit a Swanton Bomb for the three count.
Natsuko: "02, those guys over there said you guys weren't that great and it was boring. (To the audience) What? Shall I hand you the mic? I can't hear you. Speak clearly, hey. Listen up everyone, babyfaces and heroes only win in the world of anime and manga! In Stardom, women's professional wrestling, we H.A.T.E. will rule the world again this year, 2026. Until then, tremble in your sleep."
Natsuko: "Hey, you know, uh, 1.3. That damn boring tournament in Shinjuku on 1.3, what was that?"
