Last year on October 30th in Kanda, the Cosmic Angels' "Sakurara" Sakura Aya & Kurei Sayaka team defeated HANAKO & Tsukiyama Waka to become the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champions, and will now defend their titles for the first time. They will face the challengers Mizumori Yuna & Kanaya Anne. Mizumori, who is also the current High Speed Champion, will be aiming for a double title in this match against her unitmates. This will also be Kanaya's first title challenge, and her first main event appearance despite still being winless on her own. Expectations are high for a dramatic comeback and a title win…
The challengers launch a surprise attack with a double dropkick. The champions retaliate with a running elbow. Mizumori interferes with Kurei's charge and teams up with Kanaya for a face crusher. Mizumori and Kanaya deliver a series of running attacks to Kurei. When Kurei retaliates, Kanaya applies a reverse Boston crab. Kurei counters with a dropkick, body slam, and another dropkick. Sakura and Kurei attack Kanaya in combination, grabbing her arms from both sides. Mizumori tries to break it up, but Kurei sends her out of the ring. Kurei tries to force Kanaya to give up with a sleeper hold. When Kanaya escapes, Kurei delivers a dropkick to her back. Kurei dodges Kanaya's dropkick. Kanaya counters a body slam, then delivers an arm whip followed by a dropkick. Mizumori delivers a dropkick to Kurei. Sakura kicks Mizumori from behind and joins up with Kurei. However, Mizumori dodges. Mizumori hits Kurei and Sakura with a series of lariats, and Kurei with a guillotine drop. Kurei and Mizumori exchange elbows. Kurei takes a chop from Mizumori but retaliates with an elbow attack from the second base. Mizumori counters with a lariat. Kurei counters, and Mizumori rolls her up. Kurei lands a swing neckbreaker and hands the ball to Sakura. Sakura hits Mizumori with a corner spinning kick and a dropkick. Mizumori counters, and gets back up after taking a series of middle kicks from Sakura. Mizumori catches Sakura and charges, and Sakura hits an elbow and a middle kick. Mizumori counters, and slips past Sakura with a flying shoulder tackle. Kanaya hits Sakura with a series of dropkicks. Sakura counters, and Kanaya threatens a body slam. Sakura endures and delivers an elbow, Mizumori intervenes and assists Kanaya, and they perform a combined press. Sakura retaliates, and Kurei interferes with Kanaya's charge and delivers a double dropkick. Sakura applies a triangle choke to Kanaya who retaliates. 10 minutes have passed. Kanaya escapes and Sakura heads to the corner. Mizumori tries to stop her but Kurei drops her. Kanaya drops Sakura with a deadly drive and applies a bulldog headlock. Sakura retaliates and Kanaya jumps on her. Sakura counters but Mizumori hits a lariat and a body slam, and Kanaya hits a modified diving body press. Dodging Mizumori and Kanaya, Kurei delivers a dropkick. She then jumps to the outside with a plancha. Kanaya is brought back in, and Sakura and Kurei exchange strikes, with Sakura hitting a Northern Lights. Kanaya retaliates, and Sakura takes her back and attempts a suplex. Kanaya counters, dodges a high kick and rolls her up for the pin. When she countered, Sakura delivered a dropkick, then jumped on and rolled her up for a pin. Kurei speared Mizumori. Kanaya hit Sakura with a series of elbows, but Sakura countered with a thrust kick. When Kanaya retaliated, Sakura screamed "It's over!" and went for her back. As Kanaya came at her, Sakura delivered a high kick and a German suplex. The referee counted to three, and Sakura pinned Kanaya
Sakura: "Good evening everyone who came to NEW BLOOD! Thank you! Tropical Haisai, you're an amazing tag team! I used to team up with Yunamon, so I'm a little jealous. Anne actually debuted in March when she was the same age as me, 21. And just like me, she had to take a long break soon after her debut. I couldn't watch pro wrestling while I was out, and I muted my fellow debutants' Twitter accounts the whole time, and it was really, really hellish. But I'm so, so happy that I didn't quit pro wrestling and that we can meet in the ring like this. So among the six rookies, I'm kind of...looking at Anne in a special way. I'm still on my way to achieving my dream, but I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of dream Anne will pursue."
Kanaya: "Sakura and I, thank you both for fighting against me today. I got injured right after my debut, just when I was about to start working hard. Like Sakura, I couldn't watch pro wrestling at all, muted my contemporaries, and there were times when I thought about forgetting everything. But then, I happened to be looking at Twitter and saw that the H.A.T.E. members were starting to win belts, and when Stardom was in darkness, I saw Sakura's light and thought that was so cool, that I couldn't give up either, that I wanted to be like Sakura, and that's when I started to face pro wrestling properly. During that time, you both contacted me a lot, and when we met you asked, 'Are you okay?' and I was so happy. I'm truly grateful that I was able to have a title match with you two today. Thank you. And Yunamon, thank you so much for reaching out to me and caring when I was out of action. If it weren't for you, I might not have continued pro wrestling (tears). I'm sorry (tears)."
Mizumori: "If Anne hadn't asked me to team up with her, I wouldn't have had even a millimeter of the right to be in NEW BLOOD. It was really fun, thank you!"
Kurei: "I thought this view was amazing, something only NEW BLOOD could offer, and it was really great, and I'm sure everyone else thought it was great too! That's why we're going to make this NEW BLOOD tag team even more exciting. So please challenge us again anytime!"
Kanaya: "Please defend yourselves, absolutely!"

Sakura: "We successfully defended our NEW BLOOD (Tag Team) title for the first time! Thank you!"
Kyurei: "The pleasure is all mine. It's been about 100 days since I got it, right?"
Sakura: "That's right."
Kurei: "We haven't been able to defend our title even once, and although we've been busy with other tag leagues and things like that, we've been feeling a bit frustrated, and I think everyone else felt the same way."
Sakura: "That's right.
