Saki Kashima, on her final road to success, was tripped up by her rival, Sayaka Unagi. At the Korakuen Hall event on the 11th, she teamed up with Hazuki and Koguma of FWC to face Maika, Seira Mei, and Unagi in a special six-person tag team match
For Kashima, who will have her retirement ceremony at Yokohama Arena on April 26th, this match and the Korakuen Hall event on the 23rd were her only matches on the Stardom mat. The match started with a "bear pose" led by Koguma, who was making her return to the ring after a three-month absence due to injury. However, Hazuki was the only one who refused, and was immediately caught by the opposing team
While three of his teammates were simultaneously washing each other's faces, Kashima returned to the corner alone, and just when it seemed he would launch a combined attack with Hazuki, he ran away. He unleashed his usual "Kashima world." Moreover, there was a scene where he was subjected to a train attack from five members of both his own team and the opposing team
Understandably enraged, Kashima jumped on Maika and delivered a Frankensteiner, scattering everyone before leaving Unagi alone. She felt sympathy for Unagi, who was in tears and thanking her for inviting her to Stardom today, but this was a trap. Her face was torn apart and she was hit with a guillotine bullet
The subsequent rubber band snapping attack initially succeeded in hitting Unagi. However, in the ensuing struggle that spilled into the south side of the audience seating area, Unagi finally fell victim to the rubber band snapping
With this, Kashima was groggy and carried back to the ring by the opposing team. He tried to bait a friendly fire incident and make a lightning-fast comeback against Unagi, but his body was reversed and he suffered a humiliating three-count defeat
Backstage after the match, Kashima expressed his gratitude to the two FWC players, saying, "We were really happy. We were wondering what would happen with Kogutan (Koguma) out of the game, but we were able to make it happen."
As Hazuki sadly said, "I'm really glad we were able to team up one last time, but sadness is the dominant feeling," Koguma, with tears in her eyes, added, "You'll be one of the few seniors left in Stardom... I didn't have much to say, but I really like Saki's personality... I love you."
Kashima said, "I know this might sound bad, but Saki thinks of these three as returning to the team. There are circumstances that you all don't know about, but after talking today, I felt that our bond has deepened," and then headed to the waiting room saying, "Finally, thank you for making my dream come true. Arashita!"
