AZM and Mitsuyoshi Amasaki, who currently hold the Goddesses of Stardom Championship, will face FWC's Hazuki and Koguma in their first title defense
At the final show of the Golden Week tour on May 6th at Across Fukuoka, 02line teamed up with Starlight Kid to face Natsupoi, Mizumori Yuna, and Rian in a six-person tag team match. Kid made Rian tap out, giving his team the victory
After the match, AZM grabbed the microphone and said, "I haven't had a title defense yet. Two years ago, I was the one challenging for the title, so there's someone I want to challenge. FWC!" and called out Hazuki and Koguma
I'll never forget it. At the Fukuoka tournament on May 5, 2024, FWC, the then-Goddess Champions, defeated Suzu Suzuki and Mei Seira to successfully defend their title for the third time. After the match, 02line declared their intention to challenge for the title next
Amasaki said, "I believe I was able to win these tag team belts because when I challenged you before, you told me, 'Don't change your tag team partner.' I would really like to defend them against FWC!" and she and AZM bowed their heads while extending their right hands. It was just like a scene from the TV show "Neruton Benikujira-dan"
Hazuki then congratulated them, saying, "Congratulations, Goddess Champions," and then asked the audience, "Two years ago, these two challengers were here, and now it's their turn to nominate others. There's no reason for us not to accept, right? Is it okay if FWC are the next challengers for Goddess?" The venue erupted in cheers in support of FWC
Koguma, who cheekily asked, "Is it okay if FWC be the next Goddess champions?", then warned, "We aim to be the best tag team in pro wrestling and we think we're the strongest. We're going to take that belt again." In terms of audience support, FWC, making their homecoming, came out on top
President Taro Okada promised to hold the Goddess Championship match at the Inazawa tournament in Aichi on May 23rd. Both sides shook hands and pledged to give their best effort
