Kanaya had been undergoing a "Sakura and Sayaka evaluation" by Sakura and Kurei Sayaka in preparation for joining Kozuen. At the Korakuen Hall event on the 14th, she had faced Kurei in a singles match and was given a "pass," so this day became Sakura's final evaluation match

After enduring Kanaya's reverse Boston crab and a barrage of elbows, Sakura pressed her advantage with a sharp-angled German suplex and a side kick. Finally, a spectacular German suplex arced through the air, securing the victory

After the match, Sakura praised Kanaya's efforts, saying, "Your attacks on the waist were incredible. When did you get so good?" and then declared the result, "You passed, you passed!"

Kanaya was overjoyed, but then Anno Saori, Natsupoi, and Mizumori Yuna appeared. They said, "We will be the ones to judge how much stronger you have become since the Sakura judging," and offered to conduct the final judging at the Korakuen Hall event on June 30th

Upon hearing this, Sakura also insisted that Sakura, Kurei, and Kanaya had to fight against Anno, Natsupoi, and Mizumori. Although no official decision was made that day, Kanaya changed her mind and called out to Sakura, "Let's do our best as three apprentices. Let's start training now!"
