This match served as a preview for the Future Championship match between champion Yagami and Hamabe on June 30 at Korakuen Hall. The match was a speedy exchange of attacks and defenses, and in the end, Hamabe, with an assist from Iida's lariat, delivered a diving spinning prawn hold to secure the 3-count victory over Yagami.
