In the midsummer league tournament "Sammy presents STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2026," former World of Stardom Champion Sayaka Kurei secured two consecutive wins to open the tournament

On July 19th (Sunday), in an official Red Stars A match held at the Loisir Hotel Toyohashi Holiday Hall in Aichi, Kurei faced Rina. In her homecoming match, Kurei was immediately thrown into the ring outside the ring and then hit with a double knee drop from the apron, putting her in a precarious situation

The difficult situation continued, including being captured by Hydrangea, but she never allowed a decisive opportunity. Whenever she saw a chance, she used Heartbeat Spear, steadily inflicting damage. She then captured Rina with Body Squelcher Sleeper, draining her stamina

Just over 13 minutes into the match, she landed a counter-attack with her signature move, finally securing the 3-count victory. She had avenged her losses against the same opponent who had defeated her in last year's 5★Star and this year's "Cinderella Tournament."

Having defeated Tetsu Akira in the opening match the previous day (in Ota Ward), this marks their second consecutive win to start the season

After the match, she grabbed the microphone and promised, "Thank you everyone! Sayaka Kurei is back! At last year's Toyohashi tournament, I promised that I would definitely come back to Toyohashi with the belts. I was able to come back with these NEW BLOOD (tag team belts). I won the red belt, but I couldn't bring it to Toyohashi and I lost it. So, I'm going to win this 5★STAR GP, and the next time I come to Toyohashi, I'll be wearing the red belt around my waist again!"

She concluded her homecoming show by saying, "I really love pro wrestling, I love Toyohashi, and I love all of you in Toyohashi who love pro wrestling! Thank you very much!"
