Magnificent Ami: Like Thunder → Single Leg Crab Hold

Sorei Ami (3 wins, 2 losses = 6 points)
Furusawa Kian (0 wins, 6 losses = 0 points)

MATCH REPORT

Sorei Ami, who has emerged as the next challenger for the Wonder Championship (currently held by Hanan), has delivered a solid result. In a Blue Stars B official match, she faced Furusawa Kian of the Ito Respect Army, who had been eliminated after suffering five consecutive losses

He conceded the first point after being hit with a series of dropkicks. However, he stopped his opponent's movement with a shoulder tackle, cornered him, and delivered 16 consecutive reverse horizontal chops. Furthermore, he took Furusawa's elbow without guarding and knocked him down with one heavy blow

Furusawa also unleashed a barrage of attacks on Sorei's left leg with a low dropkick followed by an ankle lock, but Sorei countered with an Argentine backbreaker, preventing any further attacks. He then hung him in the corner and crushed him, finishing him off with a sliding lariat

After enduring Furusawa's persistent counterattacks targeting his left leg, he followed up with a brainbuster and a lariat. Finally, he secured a magnificent pinfall with a lightning-fast move

This brings his record to 3 wins and 2 losses, with 6 points. With two matches remaining, he has a good chance of advancing on his own merit. At the Utsunomiya tournament on the 2nd, he will defeat local Wonder Champion Hanan, making a challenge for the title after the league matches highly likely. He will continue on this path, aiming for his first 5★STAR championship and then the White Championship

[Ami Sorei's comments]
Kian debuted while I was out, and today was our first singles match. We've faced each other a few times in tag matches and artist matches, but this is the first time we've faced each other one-on-one. It was completely different from when I watched her debut match from the commentary booth. There are so many young wrestlers in my generation now, and so many rivals, so everyone is getting stronger and stronger, which is really reassuring. But I'm not going to lose to those young girls yet. I have two more matches left, against Saya Kamitani and Starlight Kid. Following Momo Watanabe and Hanan, these are really tough opponents. To be honest, some people might think that there's no way I can win against Saya Kamitani tomorrow, but I'm going to go for the win. I'm going to bring lightning to Kyoto as well, so please watch closely.

[Kian Furusawa's Story]

Ah, I lost. 5★STAR, if I lose today, I only have one more match left, tomorrow's Kyoto tournament. I feel like today really proved that "bigger is stronger," and it's incredibly frustrating. "Bigger is stronger" might be true, but even against opponents like that, I believe my specialty, the leg lock, is especially effective against bigger people, and it's worth the effort. I want to land it more and more, and become able to beat any opponent. I'm definitely going to win tomorrow!
