Rinami: Tiger Lily

MATCH REPORT

Rina, who was the dark horse of this tournament, secured her ticket to Ryogoku. In the second round of the "5★STAR GP 2026" final tournament, she faced Konami, who had advanced as the top seed in Red Stars B. Rina, who had gained momentum after defeating Yamashita Rina in the first round, was immediately forced into a brawl outside the ring. From there, she was subjected to a relentless attack on her left arm, and continued to show a pained expression

Even after taking one sharp kick after another, he desperately fought back with elbows. He kept looking for an opportunity, throwing out hip throws, outer leg sweeps, and double knee drop one after another

At a crucial moment, she landed Pink♥Devil, followed by a double knee drop and then Hydrangea. When Hydrangea escaped to the ropes, she attempted a missile kick and then Tiger Lily, but couldn't finish it off

Konami tenaciously endured a rear naked choke, German suplex, buzzsaw kick, and body scissors sleeper hold, before unleashing Pink♥Devil once again. After a missile kick, she finally secured the 3-count with a Tiger Lily

Having won her match against a fellow HATE member, Rina is scheduled to face Maika in the semi-finals of the Ryogoku tournament on the 23rd. This will be a decisive match against the opponent she drew with in 15 minutes at the Sapporo tournament on August 8th. The 19-year-old Rina, who has fully demonstrated her growth during her overseas tour, is just two wins away from becoming the youngest champion

[Rinami's Story]
I did it! Top 4! Top 4 for the second year in a row! I made it this far last year too. As I said in the ring, I was the runner-up in this year's Cinderella, and I also only made it to the top 4 in last year's 5★STAR. Last year was especially called a year of hate, and I wasn't able to get involved in the title fight at all. I wanted to channel that frustration from that year into this 5★STAR, and I think I was able to. I beat Konami and Yamashita Rina! Now that I've come this far, there's no choice but to win. Next up is Maika. We had a 15-minute draw in Hokkaido, and I didn't win, but I didn't think I would lose either. I'm going to prove to you that everything I've done this past year wasn't in vain. I'm going to be the youngest ever champion at 19 years old. I'm going to make new history for Stardom. Get ready, you guys!

[Konami's thoughts]
Today's match brought back a lot of memories. It wasn't good, not good at all, but I'm glad that Rinami beat me in my last 5★STAR match of the year. But it wasn't good at all. I wanted to reach the finals of this 5★STAR, and I really wanted to win this year. But Rinami is carrying my feelings, and a lot of other feelings, and I want her to win this 5★STAR on her own, and next time I want to be in her corner and cheer her on properly. I want to see Rinami win the championship at Ryogoku.
