The Ito Respect Army's "Meni☆Mani" duo, Kian Furusawa and Rian, finally achieved some results. Despite continuing to team up throughout the Silver Week Tour, the duo suffered a string of defeats until their fifth match against Wakana Tsukiyama and HANAKO. They launched a surprise attack before the bell rang, and the two ganged up on HANAKO
However, HANAKO, who was superior in power and physique, turned the tables and put Rian in a difficult position. Nevertheless, Furusawa caught HANAKO in her signature ankle hold, and the two worked together to great effect. Furusawa delivered a dropkick to Rian, who was being held by HANAKO, and regained the momentum
At a crucial moment, Furusawa blocked the enemy's combined attack with a kenzan (a type of pin), and immediately "Meni☆Mani" delivered a simultaneous stunner. Finally, Rian pinned Tsukiyama for the three count
After the match, he stomped on Tsukiyama and HANAKO's feet and swiftly left the ring
[A story about Furusawa Kian and Rian]
Furusawa: Our opponents were former NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champions. I think this victory is huge. We had always wanted to challenge for the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Championship, but it fell through. To be honest, we haven't even decided when we'll have a chance to compete for the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Championship yet, so I think this win is a really big one
Rian: That's right. Meni☆Mani Week has Korakuen (on the 29th)
Furusawa & Rian: We'll keep this momentum going and do our best! Alright!
[A story about Tsukiyama Wakana & HANAKO]
Tsukiyama, you really wanted to win, didn't you? It's frustrating. But the two members of Meni☆Mani say they want to challenge for the NEW BLOOD tag team title, right?
HANAKO: Yes
Tsukiyama: Well, for today we lost by about 1 in 10,000 chance, but we'll win next time. I'm thinking we might even be able to be the NEW BLOOD tag team's seconds
(Meni☆Mani bursts in and attacks)
Tsukiyama: Huh? Rian? Am I hallucinating? Maybe I'm just a little tired
