High Speed Champion Yuna Mizumori has named Natsupoi, who will retire from active competition at the Yokohama Budokan event on January 3rd next year, as her next challenger
In the second match, a 3-way battle, Mizumori faced Tsukiyama Waka and Namashima Emma. The match was fast-paced, with offense and defense constantly shifting
Mizumori sent both of them flying with a shoulder tackle and then delivered a lariat. However, he was hit with a butt attack by Tsukiyama, and then received a series of elbows and a dropkick from Mashima
At 5 minutes and 37 seconds, he was defeated by a double neck hold from Tsukiyama and Mashima
After the match, Mizumori grabbed the microphone and said to Tsukiyama and Mashima, "We were both beaten at the same time. We lost. But sorry, there's someone I really want to fight before I fight you two," before calling out, "Natsupoi! Poisan!"
When Natsupoi, who had competed in the first match, appeared in the ring, Mizumori requested, "I felt like I had to make a move now, so I'd like to have a singles match with you before I retire." Natsupoi accepted, saying, "I'm surprised. Thank you. Of course, I'd love to."
Furthermore, Mizumori raised the belt and said, "I've been struggling with this. Why don't we put this on the line and do it before you retire?"
Despite showing a surprised expression, Natsupoi grinned and said, "Is it okay to bet on it? I'll take it." This confirmed that her sixth title defense will take place at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on October 11th
Natsupoi said, "There's something I want to say. Maybe I'll say it when I wear this belt. I'm looking forward to it." The match between the High Speed Champion and the High Speed Fairy is sure to be one to watch
Yuna Mizumori: "Before Poi retires, shouldn't we fight for this belt? I've been feeling that way for so long that I finally got to say it today. I'm so happy that we can do it. I'll definitely win at Korakuen Hall on October 11th."
Natsupoi:"I understand Yunamon's feelings very well because I've been watching her from the closest perspective. But if this belt is on the line, of course I'm going to take it. I'm in the best condition I've ever been in!"
