It has been confirmed that at the Korakuen Hall event on October 20th, NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champions Sakura Aya & Kurei Sayaka will be challenged by "Meni☆Mani" (Furusawa Kian & Rian) from the Ito Respect Army
At the Korakuen Hall event on the 11th, Sakura took part in a handicap match against Furusawa and Rian. After the match, she indicated that she was ready to accept the challenge, and Kurei, who has been absent due to injury treatment, also declared that she will return at the Korakuen Hall event on the 20th and take part in the championship match
Even before the gong sounded, Meni☆Mani was confident. Furusawa declared, "I will beat Sakura Aya and challenge for the NB Tag Team Championship," and Rian also called out, "It's a handicap match, but let's do it fairly and squarely."
However, before the words had even dried on their lips, the two of them attacked together. They launched a combined stomping attack, even stepping on the feet of the referee who came to intervene
This flipped a switch in Sakura. She sent both of them flying with a missile kick, then locked Rian in a sleeper hold. Although she was stopped by Furusawa's ankle hold, she fought back, relying on her numerical advantage
Furthermore, the two brought Kurei, who was acting as a second, into the ring to attack. However, Kurei caused Rian's stunner to hit her by mistake and retaliated with a Tokimeki Spear. Immediately afterward, Sakura escaped Furusawa's ankle hold and defeated Furusawa with a New Sakuracchi
After the match, Sakura angrily accepted the challenge, saying, "What do you mean, fair and square? I won't let you do as you please anymore. I'll give you the title right away." Kurei followed up by saying, "I'll make my comeback at the next Korakuen Hall event, on October 20th, and I'll give you the title there!"
Kurei had been absent from the Korakuen Hall event on September 6th to receive treatment for an injury. She is ready to return to the ring as part of the champion tag team "Sakurara" with Sakura, to take on Meni☆Mani
The championship match between the two teams was originally scheduled for August 23rd at Ryogoku Kokugikan, but was canceled due to Rian's absence. However, Tama☆Mani, who has continued to aim for the belt, has been given another chance to challenge for it
The two remained unchanged until the very end. They refused the champions' outstretched hands, instead stomping on their feet and retreating. Kurei declared her return, while Sakura's anger grew. The rivalry between the two sides deepened even further before the rescheduled championship match
Sakura Aya: "They canceled the match without permission because Rian was unwell, but now they're challenging for a title because they're working hard on TikTok. Is that really a valid reason to challenge for a title? The way the Ito Respect Group has been behaving lately is outrageous! Bringing the corner man into the ring and performing moves on him, that's just completely unreasonable. I can never forgive people like that."
Sayaka Kurei: "While I was absent and couldn't compete, I saw how hard Kozuen was working and how hard she was supporting the team. So even though she lost this handicap match today, if she says she wants to have a title match, I'll support Sakura's decision. I'll make my comeback at Korakuen Hall on October 20th, and we'll have a title match there!"
Kian Furusawa: "We tried to play our fair game today, but we got tricked... But it's been decided that we'll be able to challenge for the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Championship at the next Korakuen Hall event! All our hard work on TikTok was worth it. Really."
Rian:"Can I just say one thing? Sayaka Kurei got speared towards the end... Are you okay? What's going on? Kozuen is just too evil a heel unit, so Meni☆Mani will take care of them!"
