Wonder of Stardom champion Hanan and challenger Hina clashed fiercely. The sisters, who will face each other at the Light Cube Utsunomiya event in Tochigi on October 18th, continued their war of words even after their preliminary match. They laid bare their emotions as they prepare for the championship match in their hometown
At the Korakuen Hall event on the 11th, Hanan teamed up with Iida Saya and HANAKO to form the STARS trio and face off against God's Eye's Shuri, Hinan, and Lady C.
Iida, the "muscular gorilla who's always in top form," was full of energy again today. Carrying the momentum from her double-header at the Chiba event the previous day, she engaged in a back-and-forth battle with Shuri. Hanan also threw herself into a fierce elbow exchange with Hinan, and even after being hit with a hip throw, she retaliated with a powerful back drop.
Iida landed a series of reverse chops on Lady, preventing her from getting a choke slam. In a coordinated attack with Hanan, HANAKO lifted Iida up and dropped her onto Lady in a spectacular move.
Lady was cornered by a powerful blow, but HANAKO's intervention saved them from the predicament. STARS followed up with a combined facebuster, and finally Iida finished off Lady with a running gorilla riat
But even after the match ended, the sisters' rivalry continued. Holding the microphone, Hinami provoked her opponent, saying, "This is the Hanan I wanted to see. Not the Hanan who says glittering, pretty things, not the Hanan of STARS, but the Hanan from the bottom of her heart."
Furthermore, she claimed that she had closed the gap to the white belt. She questioned whether this was due to her own growth or because Hanan was the champion, and declared, "Hanan's belt is just for show, I can make it much more interesting."
Hanan wasn't going to stay silent either. "You can say anything with your mouth. We've had a few preliminary matches, but you haven't beaten me even once, have you? Results are what matter, results are what matter," she countered her sister's words with her track record
While acknowledging Hinami's ideas and intelligence, she sharply rebuked her, saying, "You haven't produced any results!" Then, she delivered a scathing remark to the youngest of the three Tochigi sisters, saying, "If things continue like this, you'll remain the third child from the moment you were born."
Hinami wants to surpass her sister and make the white belt shine with her own hands. Hanami wants to demonstrate the power of a champion through results. With the decisive match taking place in their hometown, the sisters' determination is heating up
Hanan: "She says all sorts of things on social media and on the microphone, but she really hasn't produced any results. She's smart and has a great mouth, but she's always been kind of plain and hasn't produced any results... I really feel that she's still just my cute little sister, the third Hanan, so I don't know if there will be one more preliminary match, but I hope she'll make me even more excited there."
Hinami: "I don't want to see a Hanami that's just sparkly and superficial, and I don't think it's interesting. Well, it's true that I haven't achieved any results yet. Right now I might just be all talk, but Hanami has achieved results. If we're going to compare ourselves, Hanami has achieved results but isn't interesting. I'm going to achieve results in Utsunomiya and become an interesting white champion."
