Wonder of Stardom Champion Hanan won a fierce battle against her younger sister, Hina, and successfully defended her title for the fifth time
The sisters faced off in their homecoming match. It was Hinami who made the first move. She attempted a throw outside the ring, but Hanan blocked it. Instead, she slammed Hinami onto the mat outside the ring with a DDT and then took control of the match by hitting her with a Famouser
Hinami retaliated with a neckbreaker, an STF, and a hip throw. Hanami countered with the same hip throw, then executed a blockbuster followed by a plancha to the outside. She even delivered a brainbuster over the ropes, trying to push her sister away
Nevertheless, the challenger persisted. He executed a modified facebuster and then locked in an STF again. With his relentless attack on the champion's neck, he cornered him
Having weathered the storm, Hanan retaliated with a back drop, followed by a Famouser and a blockbuster hold. She then went for a back drop hold to try and win, but Hinan wasn't going to give up so easily
He retaliated with a wrist-clutch blizzard suplex and a top-rope fisherman's suplex. His Mad Splash was intercepted with a kenzan, but he continued his attack with a neck screw and a modified jackhammer, and this time he finally landed the Mad Splash
Even after all this, Hanan refused to be pinned for three. After a fierce headbutt battle, she delivered two backdrop holds. Finally, she defeated her sister's challenge with a wrist-clutch backdrop hold
This was the first sisters' title match since the Future Championship match in April 2022. Once again, Hanami became an obstacle for her older sister, and she called Hina "Hii."
"Wow, you've gotten so strong. I'm so happy, I'm so glad I was able to fight in Utsunomiya for this Wonder belt."
She then acknowledged her sister's growth, saying, "I felt that you were the closest to winning this Wonder belt," and called for a rematch, saying, "Come challenge me again someday. I will continue to be Hii's wall."
Hinami confessed that the words "You've gotten stronger" were the most frustrating for her. Nevertheless, she declared, "I will never give up on that belt, and I will never give up on becoming number one. Let's keep fighting in this ring until I defeat Hanami," showing her determination to continue fighting until she surpasses her sister
The champion, having accepted her sister's wishes, spoke of an even bigger dream. "Of course, I want to wear the white belt to the Tokyo Dome as well. So it's not just Kamiya's dream, it's our dream too," she declared. She also appealed for the possibility of holding a big match in an even larger venue in her hometown of Tochigi
Of the eight matches, STARS wrestlers participated in five. At the end, they invited their teammates into the ring, bringing their passionate homecoming show to a close
Hanan:"That was the first time I'd ever seen such a scary and strong Hanan. Hii said when she challenged me that she was the closest to winning this belt I hold. And indeed, Hii might be the closest to winning this belt. I felt a strong sense of danger from her. But I'm still a wall to stand in for Hii.
