In an eight-person tag team match, Yagami teamed up with God's Eye's Shuri, Hinami, and Inaba Tomoka to face COSMIC ANGELS' Natsupoi, Anno Saori, Mizumori Yuna, and Kanaya Anne
After delivering a powerful soccer ball kick to Anno, Yagami withstood Kanaya's fierce attack and then pressed his advantage with a God's Eye combination. He endured two consecutive combined dropkicks from Kozuen and Kanaya's bulldog headlock before unleashing a high kick. Finally, he finished off Kanaya with his signature Beat Strike
After the match, Azusa attacked the champion. She stormed into the ring, kicked Yagami, and taunted him, "When are you going to decide on a future title match with me? Are you scared?"
The two had already promised to face each other in a title match, but it had not been officially decided. Growing impatient, Azusa decided she couldn't wait any longer and unilaterally announced that she would decide it herself, challenging Azusa at the Korakuen Hall event on the 27th
