Saya Iida and Utami Hayashishita's "GORI N' ROSES" managed to start the tournament with a victory, albeit a hard-fought one. In a Blue Goddess official match, they faced "Las Infernales" (Dark Silueta and Valkyria) from Mexico's CMLL. They struggled against the opposing team's teamwork, but in the end, Iida managed to secure a hard-fought three-count
From the start, Iida was drawn into his opponents' pace. He struggled against their well-coordinated attacks, including being caught in a double crab hold and then simultaneously locked in a crossface. Furthermore, while hanging from the top rope, Iida was hit with a missile kick from Silueta. Valkyria also intervened whenever she saw an opportunity, forcing Iida into a difficult period
Utami attempted to find an opening for a counterattack by landing a spectacular missile kick on both of them, but it wasn't enough to regain control of the match. Nevertheless, Iida and Utami managed to break through with a coordinated lariat attack
Iida Rocket unleashed its power on Valkyria, followed by a combined lariat on Silueta. With an assist from Utami, Iida then slammed her opponent with a brainbuster. Seizing the opportunity, they finished her off with a vertical drop brainbuster. GORI N' ROSES overcame their disadvantage and secured a victory in their first match
Saya Iida: "We won our first match in the Goddess League. I think Shimi has a lot of feelings about it, but I also have a dream. So I'm aiming to win the championship."
Hayashishita Shimi:"We've been doing junior staff work together since way back. We've been scolded together for junior staff work. There are lots of bonds we share from our junior staff work that you wouldn't know about. After all, we're the 10th generation, the group that isn't very good at junior staff work."
Saya Iida:"I'm not sure if that's something to brag about so much, but..."
Hayashishita Utami:"Our bond is different. This time, we, the 10th generation, are going to win!"
Dirk Silueta : "We didn't get the win this time. But everyone should have seen enough of Las Infernales' power. The next time we meet in the ring, you'll get to experience our formidable strength again. We're taking this tag league."
Valkyria: "I'm so excited to be in Japan for the first time. We didn't achieve our goal today, but this isn't the end. Las Infernales will take the championship."
