The third leg of the Golden Week (GW) tour, "STARDOM GW TOUR 2026 in KOCHI," was held on Saturday, May 2nd at CHRES in Kochi, featuring a total of seven matches, and the excitement for the various title matches is heating up
In the first match, Yuna Mizumori and Aya Sakura faced Starlight Kid and Gina. Gina, a candidate to challenge for the High Speed Championship next, defeated the reigning champion Mizumori with a Thunderstruck
Gina, who secured her fourth victory over Mizumori, declared, "Maybe we don't need a title match in Kumamoto. You don't want to lose in front of your family and friends, right?"
Mizumori, who had planned to hold a title defense match at the May 4 Kumamoto tournament, her hometown, bit her lip and said, "I won't be able to have a title match at the Kumamoto tournament..." but then changed her mindset, saying, "I will definitely win the preliminary match against Gina and show everyone that the three of us are worthy champions." At the Kumamoto tournament, she will team up with World & NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champion Sayaka Kurei and NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champion Aya Sakura to face AZM, Maki Ito and Gina
The second match was a 3-way battle featuring Matoi Hamabe, Anne Kanaya, and Emma Tanashima. Hamabe, who was eliminated in the first round of the "Rookie of Stardom 2026" in April, managed to get a three-count victory over Tanashima, the winner of the same tournament. At the 5/6 Fukuoka event, Hamabe and Kanaya will challenge the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champions, Aya Sakura and Sayaka Kurei. Hamabe, who has gained momentum, boasted, "I think we've built up the momentum to take on the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Championship." Kanaya confidently declared, "I will take the NEW BLOOD Tag Team belts with Matoi and then I will join COSMIC ANGELS!"
In the third match, Shuri and Tomoka Inaba faced Wakana Tsukiyama and Rian. After defeating Rian with her signature Tomoka Whirlwind Kick, Tomoka declared, "Regardless of who I belong to, I want to aim for the Stardom belts. In particular, today I felt that I want to aim for the tag team belts with Shuri."
In the fourth match, Seira Mei, who had missed the previous day's Takamatsu tournament due to illness, took to the field and defeated Tabata with her Meteor Dragon
In the fifth match, a six-person tag team match, God's Eye's Sorei Ami, Hinami, and Lady C clashed with Mi Vida Loca's Suzuki Suzu, Aoki Itsuki, and Tetsu Akira. After defeating Tetsu with a Blue Thunder Bomb, Sorei declared, "I feel like these three have great chemistry. We're going to aim for the Artist belts as a trio."
In the title picture, the reigning champions Konami, Rina, and Fukigen★ have nominated Hanan, Iida Saya, and Kogo Momo as their next challengers, making a title match between the two sides a certainty. Already looking ahead, the God's Eye trio has begun their preparations
In the sixth semi-main event, an eight-person tag team match saw Sayaka Kurei, AZM, Mitsuyoshi Amasaki, and Ranna Yagami face off against Hazuki, Koguma, Maki Ito, and Kian Furusawa. After defeating Amasaki with a 120% schoolboy pin, Koguma addressed the Goddess Champions 02line (AZM and Amasaki) on the microphone, saying, "Those costumes are cute, but I'd like to see you two in costumes like Pretty Cure." At the April 26 Yokohama Arena event, 02line appeared in new costumes inspired by the anime "Pretty Cure," and successfully won the championship for the first time
Backstage, Amasaki showed some reluctance, saying, "I can only wear that on special occasions," but when FWC (Hazuki & Koguma) reappeared in front of the 02line, they repeatedly shouted, "We want to see it!"
AZM asked her partner, "What would you call an important moment?", to which Amasaki pondered, "A title defense?", but what would the answer be...?
Furthermore, the battle between reigning champion Kurei and Ito, who will clash in the World Championship match at the May 23rd Aichi/Inazawa event, is heating up
In the main event 14-person tag team match, Hanami, Iida Saya, Kogo Momo, Natsupoi, Anno Saori, Maika, and HANAKO faced HATE's Konami, Kamitani Saya, Ruanka, Rina, Inaba Azusa, and Bea Priestley. Kamitani, who lost the World Championship at Yokohama Arena on April 26, still possesses an overwhelming presence, and defeated Kogo with a Star Crusher, giving HATE the closing out of the event
At the May 23rd Inazawa event, Bea, who betrayed STARS and joined HATE, will challenge the Wonder Champion, Hanan
After the match, Bea made a shocking confession: "It's become clear that my joining STARS was a strategy to get closer to Hanan. I knew she would get something good, so it was all part of my plan." She then added a defiant message to Hanan: "Hanan, take good care of that white belt. I want it to be shining brightly when I take it."
Meanwhile, the White Champion, Hanan, seemed unwilling to give up on reforming Bee, saying, "There's something wrong with Bee saying things like that. I'll take more time to properly confront Bee."
