The World of Stardom Champion Saya Kamitani and challenger Tam Nakano, who will face off in a World of Stardom Championship match on April 27th at Yokohama Arena where the loser will retire, will have their final preliminary match. This will also be the final preliminary match for Starlight Kid and AZM, who will compete for the Wonder of Stardom Championship at the same event. Both teams in these preliminary matches, held just before the big showdown, feature lineups that transcend unit boundaries. Nakano and Kid have teamed up several times recently and it has worked well, but the team of former Queen's Quest wrestler Kamitani and AZM is a complete unknown. With Kamitani having defected to H.A.T.E. and AZM having formed a new unit, it is hard to imagine that their teamwork will work... In any case, it will be important for all of them to gain momentum in this final preliminary match.
The three wrestlers other than Nakano enter wearing masks. AZM and Kid stare each other down. The match starts with them both in that state. After feeling each other out, Kid takes Kid's back and AZM grabs her arm. After a struggle for an arm hold, AZM applies a headlock. When Kid throws him into the ropes, AZM applies an armbar. AZM dodges Kid's dropkick, but Kid delivers an arm whip. Both dodge the tag, and Nakano and Kamitani enter the ring. Nakano goes for a triangle choke, but Kamitani applies a sleeper hold. Nakano counters with a headlock, but Kamitani applies a headlock too. Nakano grabs Kamitani's hair and delivers a spinning kick. As Nakano runs, Momo pulls his leg from under the ring. The fight spills outside the ring, with Kid and AZM exchanging elbows at ringside. Kamitani throws Nakano into the audience. Nakano is brought back into the ring, and Kamitani stomps on his face. AZM hits Nakano with a corner dropkick and a soccer ball kick. Kamitani applies a sleeper hold to Nakano. Nakano escapes, and Kamitani takes a series of elbows to get back up. Kamitani's elbows knock Nakano down. However, Kid rolls up Kamiya and delivers a dropkick. Kid hits Kamiya with a diving body attack. AZM stops Kid's charge from the apron. Kamiya throws Kid into the ropes but Kid hits a hurricanrana, a bufadora on AZM, and a standing moonsault on Kamiya. Kamiya hits Kid with a dropkick as he charges. AZM hits Kid with a PK, a dropkick, and then goes for a submission hold. Kid escapes and AZM pulls him up and prepares for a belt brainbuster. Kid resists and hits a running dropkick. AZM hits a head scissors and a missile kick. Kid kicks out and AZM declares he's going for the finish and heads to the corner. Kid gets up and does a superplex. 10 minutes have passed. Kid climbs to the corner and AZM gets up and does a superplex and a diving foot stomp. However, Nakano interferes. Kid stops AZM's charge and hits the Black Tiger Divine Punishment. AZM slips past Kid and attempts Azumi Sushi, but Nakano cuts him off. Nakano tags Kamiya. Kid captures AZM. Kamiya and AZM slam each other down. Kid counters AZM with a DDT. Kid hits AZM from behind with a double knee attack and a moonsault press. AZM dodges and lands a thrust kick. Both are down and tag out. Kamiya hits Nakano with a double kick, and Nakano lands a spin kick. After an exchange of elbows, Nakano knocks Kamiya down with a series of blows. Kamiya dodges a charge and he and AZM exchange corner kicks, with Kamiya doing a swan dive body attack. Nakano counters, and as Kamiya tries to lift him up, Kid lands a dropkick. Nakano gets behind Kid, but they exchange a series of elbows. Spin kicks are also exchanged. Nakano's spin kick connects, but his Violet Shooting is stopped and he is slammed to the mat. Five minutes remaining. Kamiya and AZM exchange dropkicks, with Kamiya hitting a whirlwind kick, but Kid interferes. Kid hits AZM with a fisherman suplex. Nakano hits Kamiya with a spin kick, leaving all four down. Kid and AZM fight outside the ring. Kamiya slips past Nakano and hits a spin kick, then declares he's going for the finish and attempts a Star Crusher. Nakano counters with a German suplex, climbs to the corner and attempts a Destiny Hammer, but AZM interferes with a diving foot stomp. AZM sends Nakano to the outside and gives instructions to Kamiya. Kamiya attempts a swan dive to the outside but is dodged. Kid flies to the outside with a plancha. Nakano hits Kamiya, who has returned to the ring, with a German suplex. Two minutes remaining. Kamiya kicks out and Nakano attempts a Tiger suplex. Kamiya resists and Nakano hits a spin kick and a Violet Shooting, but AZM interferes. Nakano hits Kamiya and Kid hits AZM with Tiger suplexes, but they only get a two count. One minute remaining. Nakano lifts Kamiya, but Kamiya counters and hits a Star Crusher. Nakano retaliates, and Kamiya turns the Star Crusher into a spinning one. Nakano counters, and Kamiya counters with a Frankensteiner. Nakano retaliates, and Kamiya hits a double kick. Nakano hits a spin kick, and Kamiya counters with a spin kick. Time runs out here, and the match ends in a draw.
AZM: "Ouch, hey. Hey, Kid! Today ended in a draw, but you haven't been able to beat me for five years, right? I'm going to prove that you'll never be able to beat me, Kid. And I'm going to make you realize that I'm better suited to be the leader of Wonder and Neo Genesis. Be prepared."
Kid: "AZM, you still don't know the true strength of White Tiger SLK now. As the Wonder Champion, I won't make the same mistake again. And our fight will not lose to the World!"
Kid and AZM leave the ring.
Kamiya: "Hey, Nakano Tam! I'm the only one who can take everything from you. On April 27th at Yokohama Arena, I'm going to devour every last bit of you!"
Nakano: "April 27th, April 27th won't be like today. Three more days... In three more days, either you or I will be completely gone from this world. Kamiya, doesn't that feel great? I'm ready. I'm ready to bear the cross of Kamiya Saya! I won't let you take everything from me. Enjoy your pro wrestling career for the next three days."
Kamiya holds up the belt to Nakano. The two exchange words without using the microphone. Kamiya leaves first, and Nakano takes the microphone again.
Nakano: "Hello everyone in space, and everyone at Korakuen Hall! In three days, please come and witness a match that will go down in the history of women's professional wrestling. And I want to continue making the history of women's professional wrestling, of Stardom, together with all of you! Please give us lots of courage. You are our hope for life. Will you let us hear your voices? Follow us on the glittering road to space. Believe in time!"
