Cosmic Angels' team of Tam Nakano, Saori Anno, and Sayaka Kurei faced H.A.T.E.'s team of Saya Kamitani, Natsuko Tora, and Azusa Inaba in a six-woman tag team match. On February 24th in Utsunomiya, Nakano and Kurei will face Kamitani and an undecided tag team in a tag team match. If Nakano's team wins, Nakano's wish to face Kamitani for the World of Stardom Championship will come true. However, if they lose, will Kurei lose the title to Kamitani? Two consecutive days of preliminary matches leading up to that match. The previous day in Takasaki, Nakano rolled up Kamitani to secure the victory. If Nakano's team wins again, it will put pressure on Kamitani...
Both teams charged forward without waiting for the bell. H.A.T.E. isolated Kurei, while Kamitani and Azusa grabbed her arms and kicked her from both sides. Kamiya's cover attempt was not recognized. Kamiya delivered a hair whip to Kurei, cornered her, and stomped on her face. Kamiya complained to the referee, "You're showing too much favoritism (to Kurei)," as she applied a sleeper hold. She then stomped on Kurei, asking, "Kurei, you know what's going on, right?" Azusa delivered a series of stomps to Kurei, followed by a hair whip, a body slam, and a soccer ball kick. When Kurei kicked out, Azusa faked a kick to the face and applied a standing heel hold to force a submission. Natsuko delivered a series of reverse chops to Kurei, rubbed her face against the top rope, and then delivered a brainbuster. Kurei jumped on Natsuko and applied a sleeper hold. However, Kamiya intervened. Kamiya took Kurei to the corner. Kurei then delivered a dropkick to Kamiya and an elbow attack to Natsuko. Nakano delivers a diving body attack to Natsuko. Azusa holds Nakano down, and Natsuko hits a lariat. Anno hits Natsuko and Azusa with missile kicks, and Nakano and Anno perform a knee attack together. Natsuko retaliates, and Anno attempts a German suplex on her. Natsuko counters with a shoulder throw and a senton. Kamitani attempts a swan dive on Nakano. Nakano dodges, but Kamitani lands a dropkick. After dodging kicks, Kamitani rolls her up for a pin. Kamitani sticks out her tongue, but Nakano dodges and lands a back drop and a knee attack. Kamitani attacks Nakano's face near the ropes. Nakano lands an elbow, and Kamitani retaliates. Elbows and spin kicks are exchanged. Nakano's spin kick connects, and she prepares for a brainbuster. Kamitani counters, and she and Natsuko launch a pincer attack, with Kamitani landing a double kick. 10 minutes have passed. When Nakano retaliates, Kurei dodges Kamitani's double kick and lands a missile kick, followed by Nakano's Violet Shooting. Nakano and Kamitani are down. Azusa lands a middle kick on Anno, slamming her head into the mat. Anno dodges the charge and lands a big boot. Natsuko interferes with Anno, and Azusa lands a series of double kicks. Anno retaliates, and Azusa goes for a Northern Lights suplex followed by a Paradise Hold. However, HATE makes the cut. HATE launches a series of corner attacks on Anno. Anno counters a heel hold, but Azusa goes for a kneebar. Anno escapes, and Azusa declares she's going for the finish and takes her back. Anno counters, and Kurei lands a dropkick, Nakano lands a Violet Shooting, and Anno lands a Tantandol. However, Natsuko makes the cut just in time. In the ensuing scramble, Kurei hit Kamiya with a Tokimeki Spear, and Nakano and Kurei flew to the outside with a plancha, while Anno hit Azusa with a missile kick. However, Azusa's shoulder rose. Azusa hit Anno with a palm strike as Anno charged. Anno retaliated with a German suplex on Azusa. The Kozuen trio delivered a heel drop, and Anno hit a Tantandol. Azusa couldn't escape, and Anno won. After the match, HATE attacked Kozuen and left the ring.
Anno: "Kamiya, Kamiya, you're wasting your potential. Tam, Kurei, do your best. I'll do my best too, because we've announced our 10th anniversary tournament on May 31st. Natsumi and I will be creating a special atmosphere, so please come and join us."
Nakano: "Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome aboard, Cosmic Angels! Let me introduce today's crew: Yunamon, Natsupoi, Kurei, Tam, Saori. And, and Sakura has a match with Sendai Girls. Do your best. We are super delicious, we are the best, we are number one. We and you are delicious, mmm!"
Anno: "It's been a while, hasn't it?" Nakano
: "Yeah."
Anno: "The two of us have been fighting H.A.T.E." all this time."
"I watch it every day."
Anno: "I do. Standing next to you today, I thought it would be nice if I could protect something, even just a little, and I also felt like I was able to see a lot of things, like my own purpose. I want you to win (against Kamiya-gumi in Utsunomiya on February 24). Win."
Nakano: "Of course. I'll protect you, both Kurei and Kozuen. I promise."
Anno: "Okay, okay, then take a look at Mount Fuji... It's gotten quite cloudy though (wry smile)."
The backstage area is outdoors, and Mount Fuji had been visible until recently, but at this point it was obscured by clouds.
Nakano: "It's cloudy, but I can tell that when the clouds clear, there'll be a very tall, huge, majestic and beautiful Mount Fuji."
Anno: "The best in Japan, no, what about us?"
Nakano: "The best unit in the universe!"
Anno: "Cosmic...e..."
: "Huh, what?" Anno:
"See you later."
Anno leaves. Nakano and Kurei also leave.
