The other first-round match for the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Championship was between Hina & Yagami Ranna vs. Tetsu Akira & Hime Yuria. On February 24th in Utsunomiya, Hina defeated Amasaki Mitsuyoshi to finally capture the Future of Stardom Championship, her first ever belt. Her chances continued, as she and Yagami attempted to capture the NB Tag Team Championship with God's Eye. Their opponents were newcomers Akira and Yuria. This was, of course, the first time they'd competed for the belt.
The newcomer duo asked for a handshake, and Hina and Yagami accepted. Akira volunteered to start, but Yuria overpowered her and locked up with Hina. Hina escaped Yuria's head scissors. After the lockup, Hina applied a headlock, and Yuria swung her into the ropes and combined with Akira for a shoulder tackle. Akira swung Hina into the ropes. Yuria delivers a dropkick from the side. Yuria attempts a body slam on Hina. Hina holds off and dodges a lariat, and she and Yagami exchange dropkicks. Hina body slams Yuria. Yagami hits Yuria with a series of soccer ball kicks. Hina body slams Yuria. Yuria returns, and Hina applies a camel clutch. Yagami hits Yuria with a series of stomps, and Yuria goes in with a series of elbows, and Yagami provokes her, saying, "Bring it on!". Yagami sends Yuria flying with one hit and charges forward. However, Yuria counters with a dropkick. Akira follows up with a series of dropkicks. Yagami retaliates, and hits a powerful elbow, leading to an elbow exchange. Akira also provokes her, saying, "Come on!", and the elbow exchange continues. Yagami drives her into the corner and hits a thrust elbow followed by a dropkick, followed by a penalty kick. Akira shouts, "Don't mess with me," and applies a Kawazu Otoshi and a facelock. Hina tries to cut her off, but Akira doesn't let go, and Yuria sends Hina out of the ring, separating them. Akira takes a front-knee chancery stance, but Yagami counters, but Akira hits a dropkick. Yagami hits a thrust high kick and a soccer ball kick. However, Akira's shoulders rise. Hina hits a dropkick on Akira. As they swing back and forth to the corner, Akira hits a dropkick on Hina. Yuria hits Hina with a series of big boots, but Hina changes her stance and hits a body slam. Hina applies a reverse crab hold, but Yuria reaches the ropes. Hina taunts Yuria with an elbow, saying, "I'm not listening!" and "Come on!" Hina sends her flying with a single elbow and charges forward. Yuria counters with a dropkick, followed by a skewer dropkick and a series of big boots. Yuria shouts, "You go!" and swings Hina into the ropes with a big boot. She then slams her down with a body slam, but it only gets a two count. Hina dodges Yuria's charge, and Yagami hits a dropkick, slamming her backwards. However, Yuria counters. Hina declares her finish and goes for a jackhammer. Akira drops a dropkick, Yuria drops a dropkick, and Akira goes for a Kawazu Otoshi. Then Yuria goes for a guillotine drop, but Yagami cuts her off. Yuria hits a series of elbows, and Hina hits a hip sweep. Yuria returns, and Hina goes for a jackhammer. Yuria holds on, but Hina slams her to the mat, bringing Yagami in. Hina and Yagami combine for a neckbreaker, and Hina hits a modified jackhammer, and the three count is in.
