The other first-round tournament match for the right to challenge for the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Championship is between Hinami & Yagami Ranna and Tetsu Akira & Hime Yuria. Hinami defeated Amasaki Mitsuyoshi in Utsunomiya on February 24th to capture the coveted Future of Stardom Championship, her first belt ever. The opportunity continues, as she and Yagami, as God's Eye, are also aiming for the NB Tag Team Championship. Their opponents are rookies Akira and Yuria. This will, of course, be their first time being involved in a belt match.
The rookie duo offers a handshake, which Hinami and Yagami accept. Akira volunteers to go first, but Yuria stops her and locks up with Hinami. Hinami escapes Yuria's head scissors. After a lock-up, Hinami puts in a headlock, and Yuria throws her into the ropes and Akira and Yuria deliver a combined shoulder tackle. Akira throws Hinami into the ropes. Yuria delivers a dropkick from the side. Yuria attempts a body slam on Hinami. Hinami resists and dodges a lariat, then exchanges dropkicks with Yagami. Hinami body slams Yuria. Yagami delivers a series of soccer ball kicks to Yuria. Hinami body slams Yuria. When Yuria retaliates, Hinami applies a camel clutch. Yagami delivers a series of stomps to Yuria, and Yuria responds with a series of elbows, to which Yagami taunts, "Come on!" Yagami sends Yuria flying with one blow and charges forward. However, Yuria counters with a dropkick. Akira follows with a series of dropkicks. Yagami retaliates with a powerful elbow, leading to an elbow exchange. Akira also taunts, "Come on!", and the exchange of elbows continues. Yagami cornered Akira and delivered a running elbow, followed by a dropkick and a PK. Akira responded with a Kawazu Otoshi and a face lock, saying "Don't mess with me." Hinami tried to break up the hold, but Akira wouldn't let go, and Yuria sent Hinami out of the ring to separate them. Akira went for a front neck chancery, Yagami countered, but Akira delivered a dropkick. Yagami hit a running high kick and a soccer ball kick. However, Akira's shoulder rose. Hinami delivered a dropkick to Akira. In a struggle for the corner, Akira landed a dropkick on Hinami. Yuria hit Hinami with a series of big boots, but Hinami countered and delivered a body slam. Hinami went for a reverse Boston crab, but Yuria reached the ropes. Hinami taunted Yuria with an elbow, saying "It's not working!" and "Come on!" Hinami sent Yuria flying with one elbow and charged forward. Yuria countered with a dropkick, followed by a running dropkick and a series of big boots. Yuria then threw Hinami into the ropes and delivered another big boot, shouting "You go!" She followed up with a body slam, but only got a two count. Hinami dodged Yuria's charge and Yagami delivered a dropkick, which Hinami slammed backwards. However, Yuria managed to turn around. Hinami declared she was going for the finish and went for a Jackhammer. Akira delivered a dropkick, followed by a dropkick from Yuria, and then Akira went for a Kawazu Otoshi. Then Yuria attempted a guillotine drop, but Yagami broke it up. Yuria landed a series of elbows, and Hinami responded with a hip throw. Yuria countered, and Hinami went for a Jackhammer. Yuria resisted, but Hinami slammed her to the mat and called in Yagami. Hinami and Yagami combined for a neckbreaker, and Hinami delivered a modified Jackhammer for the three count.
