Yuna Mizumori had been eager to challenge for the High Speed Championship under the new rules, but her loss to Fukigen desu★ meant she had to postpone her challenge. Champion Seira Mei nominated Fukigen desu★, who won that match, as her next challenger. This was Fukigen's first time challenging under the new rules, and only Seira's second time, so neither could afford to be complacent.
Fukigen dodged Seira's dropkick and struck a smoking pose. Seira imitated her, and the referee warned her to stop smoking. Fukigen complained, using the referee to her advantage. Seira countered Fukigen's roll-up attempt and won the first fall with a Shooting Star. In the second fall, Fukigen poked her eye and threatened a brainbuster, then followed up with a series of roll-ups. Seira countered, and after an exchange of roll-ups, Seira landed a Shooting Star. Fukigen countered and rolled her up for the three count, making it even. With 8 minutes and 32 seconds remaining, in the third fall, Seira landed a high-angle dropkick. When Fukigen retaliated, Seira went to the corner. Fukigen hit her with a sports newspaper and shouted, "Avalanche Brainbuster!" and actually executed it. She climbed to the corner again and did a moonsault. Seira dodged it and pulled Fukigen up, going for checkmate. Fukigen countered, and Seira rolled her up. Fukigen hit a front kick and pinned her. Seira kicked out, and countered Fukigen's roll-up with a dropkick and a bomb. The referee counted to three, and Seira successfully defended her title.
Seira: "I successfully hunted Fukigen! I'm going to extend my title defense record even more, so please continue to support Seira Mei!"
"I succeeded in hunting down the grumpy guy. Well, my goal is to surpass AZM's title defense record, but Tabata, who was here today, I fought him the other day and I thought I learned a lot from him. He's a fighter I've never seen before, or fought, or even teamed with, so I think there's a lot I can absorb from him, and I'm looking forward to what's to come. What was I talking about? Sorry.
