On March 15th in Ota Ward, Sayaka Kurei won the Cinderella Tournament for the first time. Her opponent was Saya Kamitani, the World of Stardom Champion. Initially, Kamitani was scheduled to have a singles match against Starlight Kid at Kid's request, but Kid withdrew due to a Wonder Championship match. Therefore, Kamitani set her sights on this year's Cinderella. Kamitani has a loser-retires match scheduled for April 27th at Yokohama Arena, but will she try to reclaim Kurei of the Cosmic Angels before her match against Tam Nakano? The outcome of the match, as well as Kamitani's actions, are all points of interest. How will 2025's Cinderella, Kurei, navigate this trap?
Even after the gong sounded, neither wrestler moved from their corners. They slowly advanced and locked up, testing their strength. Kamitani cornered Kurei against the ropes for a break. Kurei dodged Kamitani, turned around, and delivered a series of elbows. Using the ropes, Kamitani performed a leapfrog, and Kurei responded with a dropkick. Kamitani countered with a dropkick of her own, sending Kurei out of the ring and throwing her into the audience. Kamitani climbed onto the corner and waited for Kurei to return. When Kurei returned, Kamitani delivered a missile kick, a series of stomps, and a face lock. When Kurei escaped, Kamitani pinned her against the ropes, stuck out her tongue, and delivered a heel drop. When Kurei countered, Kamitani taunted her with "Cinderella" and "Come on, give me more," and stood firm, receiving a series of elbows. Kamitani knocked her down with one elbow but was hit with a counter dropkick. Kurei delivered a series of dropkicks and a body slam. When Kamiya retaliates, she counters Kurei's neckbreaker. Kurei lands an elbow attack, but only gets a two count. As soon as it's countered, she goes for a sleeper hold. Kurei applies a neckbreaker and holds, but Kamiya kicks out. Kamiya lands an elbow, and Kurei retaliates. After an exchange of elbows, Kamiya charges forward with renewed determination, lands a dropkick, and Kurei replies with a dropkick followed by an elbow attack. Kurei attempts a spear, but Kamiya stops it and delivers a brainbuster. Both are down, but get up and charge forward, Kamiya lands a double kick, and Kurei jumps in and applies a sleeper hold. Kurei locks it in the center, not allowing Kamiya to escape. However, Kamiya manages to escape. 10 minutes have passed. Kurei lands a Tokimeki Cutter, but Kamiya kicks out. Kurei dodges a lariat and lands a Tokimeki Spear. Kamiya desperately tries to cover but kicks away. Kurei pulls Kamiya up and prepares for a brainbuster. Kamiya counters and slams Kurei backwards. Kurei reverses, and Kamiya declares she's going for the finish and attempts a Star Crusher. Kurei resists twice and rolls her up. Kamiya reverses, and Kurei lands a spin kick. Kurei reverses again, and Kamiya aims for a kick to the face, a kick from behind, and a whirlwind kick. However, Kurei manages to reverse it. Kamiya shouts "It's over!" and lands the Star Crusher. Kurei is unable to reverse it, and Kamiya wins
Kamiya: "Hey Kurei, I told you when you debuted that I would be a formidable obstacle when you achieved your dreams. Do you remember? But I take all those words back! I'm going to smash your Cinderella slippers to shreds. You can go mop the floors and lick my shoes."
Kamiya throws a rag at Kurei. Nakano enters and glares at Kamiya
Kamiya: "Nakano Tam, the day after tomorrow (March 22nd), in Okinawa (Ginowan), here (Okinawa Convention Center), H.A.T.E. vs. Kozuen, I'm going to make it your retirement match. Be careful not to lose heart."
Kamiya proudly showed off his red belt to Nakano
Kamiya: "Only one person will retire at Yokohama Arena on April 27th, and that's you, Nakano Tam! Servants, kneel before me. Farewell forever."
