Cosmic Angels' Saori Anno & Sayaka Kurei faced off against H.A.T.E.'s Saya Kamitani & Natsuko Tora in a tag team match. This match is a preliminary bout leading up to the World of Stardom Championship match on May 11th at Korakuen Hall. Kurei, who won the Cinderella Tournament, declared her wish for Kamitani's red belt, which forced Tam Nakano into retirement, and it has now come true. Kurei is partnered with Anno, while Kamitani is partnered with Natsuko, the boss of H.A.T.E., so both teams are fielding powerful lineups. In this final preliminary match, will the champions or the challengers have the upper hand?
HATE attacked Cosmic Angels from behind as they entered the ring. Kamitani immediately threw Kurei out of the ring and slammed her into the audience. Natsuko also threw Anno into the audience. Kamitani brought Kurei back into the ring and stomped on her. Natsuko then body-slammed Kurei. When Kurei retaliates, Natsuko puts her full weight into it. Then she does a standing body press. Kamitani stomps on Kurei repeatedly, stomps on her face, and then hits her with a big boot. When Kurei comes in with an elbow, Kamitani retaliates and sends her flying. Natsuko sprays water on Kurei and also on Anno, who is on the sidelines. Natsuko hits Kurei with a series of brainbusters. Kurei counters with a series of dropkicks, and Anno also drops a dropkick on Natsuko. Natsuko dodges and applies an Indian deathlock. Kamitani tries to break it up, and Anno slams her down with a brainbuster. Anno hits Natsuko with a missile kick. Natsuko retaliates, withstands a fisherman suplex, and counters with a cross body and a senton. Kamitani jumps with a swan dive, and Anno dodges but takes a dropkick. Kamitani lands punches and elbows, and Anno delivers a neckbreaker. Kurei offers to tag in and hits Kamiya with a dropkick and a series of elbows. Kamiya throws her into the corner, but Kurei retaliates with a series of dropkicks. As she attempts a fourth, H.A.T.E.'s second interferes from below the ring. Kamiya delivers a series of light slaps to Kurei. Kurei follows up with a series of elbows. Kamiya absorbs the blows and drives her towards the ropes. Kurei slaps her, then dodges and knocks Kamiya down with a dropkick. Kurei attempts a missile kick from the corner, but Kamiya kicks out. Kurei locks Kamiya in a sleeper hold. She transitions into a body scissors hold, but Natsuko breaks it up. Kamiya dodges Kurei's charge and Natsuko hits a lariat, a hurricane driver, and Kamiya hits a double kick. Kurei kicks out, and Kamiya attempts a star crusher. Kurei counterattacks, but Kamitani counterattacks as well. After Anno's neckbreaker, Kurei goes for a fisherman suplex. Kamitani counters, and Kurei goes for the Tokimeki Cutter. Kamitani resists, and Kurei lands a Tokimeki Spear. However, Kamitani kicks out of it. Kurei lands a series of elbows, and Kamitani stands up to receive them. Both scream, and Kurei lands another series of elbows. Kamitani counters with a spin kick. Kurei counters, and 10 minutes have passed. Kamitani slams Anno down, but Anno makes an emergency stop. Natsuko eliminates Anno with a lariat. Kamitani counters with a big boot, Natsuko lands a cannonball, and Kamitani announces her finish and lands a Star Crusher with long hang time. Kurei can't counter, and Kamitani wins.
Kamiya: "Hey, you damn Cinderella! This is reality. On May 11th at Korakuen Hall, I'm going to make you understand the weight, the fear, and the greatness of this red belt. Don't think you'll get out of here alive."
Kurei grabs Kamiya's leg as she tries to leave the ring and won't let go.
Kurei: "I'm a professional wrestler, so what's wrong with a professional wrestler dreaming, challenging themselves, and aiming for the top? The backs I've seen since I started winning, and the backs of Kamiya-san, whom I've always admired, have been the backs of those who chase their dreams and aim for the top, continuing to challenge themselves no matter what anyone says. So on May 11th, I won't say I'm going to surpass you or anything like that, but I'm going to cling to your back and never let go. So look forward to it."
Kamiya shows off the belt and pushes Kurei away.
