Waka Tsukiyama and Hanako will be defending the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Championship for the third time. This will be E neXus V's first defense since Shirakawa Mina moved overseas and Maika's extended absence, leaving them without key members of the unit. Hanako, who has also challenged for the Wonder of Stardom Championship and seems to have awakened, will team up with Tsukiyama to defend EXV's only belt. The challenger will be 53-year-old Himiko, making her second challenge since March of this year. Last time, she teamed with Nanami (now Nanami Hatano), but this time, her partner will be 17-year-old Makoto Yuma, making her title match debut. Will this age-gap team bring the belt to Diana?

She takes the back, but Hanako counters with a big boot. Himiko hits a Kawazu Otoshi and engages in a series of thrust attacks with Makoto. Himiko tries to brand her calf, but Tsukiyama cuts her off. As Himiko gets into a double arm position, Makoto asks for the tag. Makoto unleashes a barrage of dropkicks on Hanako. When Hanako returns, Makoto warns her and goes for a brainbuster. Hanako holds on, lifts her up, and slams her down with a backflip. Tsukiyama hits Makoto with a series of hip attacks. When Makoto returns, Tsukiyama hits him with a series of hip butts and goes for a modified hanging ceiling. However, Himiko cuts in and dropkicks both of their knees, then hits a face crusher on Hanako onto Tsukiyama, and Makoto applies a reverse crab hold on Tsukiyama.
Tsukiyama escapes, but Makoto rolls her up. Tsukiyama returns, and they exchange elbows. Himiko dropkicks Tsukiyama, Makoto hits a missile kick, Himiko hits a diving guillotine, and Makoto hits an elbow drop. 10 minutes pass. Makoto applies a reverse crab hold on Tsukiyama. Hanako cuts in and combines with Tsukiyama. However, Himiko cuts in just in time. Tsukiyama, bleeding from his mouth, screams, "I'm going to finish you off!" Makoto hits a shoulder tackle and then a jackknife. Tsukiyama returns, but is slammed to the mat. Hanako cuts in and slams Himiko to the mat, separating them. Tsukiyama stops Makoto's charge and performs a Gokuraku Don. Makoto returns the attack, and Tsukiyama performs a Smelt (a modified Campana). Makoto gives up, and Tsukiyama is victorious.
Tsukiyama: "Good evening to everyone who came to NEW BLOOD! The NEW BLOOD tag team has successfully defended their title! Thank you, Makoto Yuma, for coming forward and saying you wanted to challenge for the belt. This is my first title match challenge in my career as a professional wrestler. That's right. I think NEW BLOOD is about coming together with the audience like this and creating something together, rather than being based on organizations, age, or career. Age doesn't matter, right Himiko?"
Himiko: "Age doesn't matter. Organization doesn't matter. And career doesn't matter. NEW BLOOD is a place where you can fight with passion and enthusiasm like that. Tsukiyama: "NEW BLOOD 22. This is the 22nd time for NEW BLOOD. We successfully defended our tag belts in the main event. I'm happy that we were able to do Smelt after a long time. Does that look like you're bleeding?"
