AZM escapes, and Kamitani delivers a series of stomps, taunting AZM with a defiant smile and saying, "It's been a while!" AZM charges in with a series of elbows. Kamitani knocks him down with one hit and charges, but AZM anticipates it, throws him to the floor, and delivers a middle kick from the apron. Natsuko climbs onto the apron to distract the referee. AZM delivers a diving foot stomp and brings Kamitani back into the ring.
AZM delivers a missile kick, then, foreshadowing the finish, a diving foot stomp. Kamitani dodges and delivers a foot stomp, AZM gets behind him and delivers a German suplex, but Kamitani counters with a dropkick. Both men are down. AZM lands a series of elbows. Kamitani counters AZM's attempt at a Canadian Destroyer and lands a punch, slamming him backwards. AZM attempts an Azumi Sushi, but Kamitani gets on top. AZM kicks out, and Kamitani lands a big boot and a whirlwind kick. Kamitani pulls AZM up and prepares for a Star Crusher. AZM counters with a Canadian Destroyer followed by an Azumi Sushi. It looked like it was over, but Kamitani kicks out at the last moment. AZM prepares for another Canadian Destroyer, and Kamitani's Kamigoye is read, but he lands a spin kick. Both men are down, but they get up and AZM lands a high kick. Kamitani kicks out, and AZM rolls him up for a spinning bomb. AZM kicks out, and Kamitani goes for a Star Crusher. AZM kicked out at the last moment, but Kamitani pulled him up and went for another spinning pin. AZM countered again and rolled him up repeatedly. Kamitani couldn't kick out, and AZM got the three count. After the match, Kamitani assaulted AZM.
"I'm tired. It's tough. Two matches in one day, and the second one is against Kamitani Saya. It's the best situation ever! This is my first singles match with Kamitani since everything happened at QQ. I've always wanted to fight you, Kamitani. Well, I don't know how you felt, but if I win this year's 5★STAR, I'll challenge for your belt and we can have a long discussion, you idiot!"
