Furusawa Marian: Cross-leg ankle hold

MATCH REPORT

This marks the third singles match between fellow wrestlers Emma Fushima and Marian Furusawa. This marks their third consecutive match at the NEW BLOOD tournament. The first match ended in a time-limit draw, while Fushima won the second. This marks her first genuine win in her previous singles match. Following her loss, Furusawa still lacks a single victory. Four days ago at the Fuji tournament, she faced off against Saori Anou in the semi-finals. She'll be hoping to use this experience to secure her first win on her own, but... Will Fushima be able to pull ahead of Furusawa, or will she? They
lock up and test their strength. As Furusawa presses forward, Fushima flips around and lands a series of elbows, while Furusawa counters with five consecutive dropkicks. When Fushima returns, Furusawa hits a dropkick and grabs her leg. Fushima counters, but Furusawa covers with a dropkick. When Fushima returns, Furusawa applies a sleeper hold to force a submission. As Fushima resists, Furusawa delivers a body slam. As Furusawa charges, Fushima retaliates with a series of dropkicks. As Furusawa returns the slam, Fushima applies a reverse crab hold. Furusawa manages to escape, and Fushima warns him and prepares for a body slam. Furusawa refuses and goes for a headscissors, but Fushima resists and delivers a dropkick. Fushima blocks Furusawa's kick and delivers a modified backbreaker and a reverse crab hold. Furusawa rolls him up and applies a standing ankle hold to force a submission. Fushima somehow manages to escape. Furusawa hooks his left leg onto the ropes and delivers a dropkick, yelling "I'm going to finish you!" as he aims for the leg. Fushima counters with a series of brainbuster slams. Furusawa returns with a neckbreaker, then twists Fushima's leg as he returns and applies an ankle hold. He took the fight to the center of the ring and tightened the grip, forcing Fushima to finally give up, giving Furusawa his first victory on his own.
