The six-person tag team match between Tora Natsuko, Ryuka & Konami vs. Rina, Inaba Azusa & Fukigen Desu★ is a showdown between H.A.T.E. stablemates. Tora Natsuko, Ryuka & Konami are the Goddess and Wonder champion trio. This is a preliminary match between Konami and Rina, who will face off for the Wonder of Stardom title on January 21st at Korakuen Hall.
Without shaking hands, Rina and Konami start the match. Konami dodges Rina's big boot. Rina applies a headlock. Konami grabs Rina's hair and Rina retaliates with a shoulder tackle. Konami grabs Rina's hair and slams her onto the mat. Rina dodges a middle kick and delivers a dropkick. She sends Konami outside the ring and takes the fight outside. Rina throws Konami into the audience. Konami retaliates by slamming Rina into the audience. Konami brings Rinami back into the ring and taunts her with "Is that all you've got?", then takes a series of elbows and stands up. Konami scratches Rinami's face and delivers a soccer ball kick. She goes for a cover with one leg, but only gets a two count. Konami holds Rinami against the ropes and attacks. Ruanka and Natsuko take turns doing hair whips on Rinami. Natsuko sprays water on Rinami and delivers a body press. Rinami counters and goes for a hip throw. Natsuko resists, but Rinami goes for the hip throw again and finishes it. Azusa hits Natsuko with a big boot. Ruanka delivers a shoulder tackle to Azusa, but she dodges a double body press and teams up with Fukigen. After Fukigen pokes them in the eye, Azusa delivers a face crusher to both of them and a series of double kicks to Natsuko. Natsuko counters, and Azusa delivers a series of middle kicks and a knee lock. As Natsuko tries to escape, Ruika interferes by pulling Azusa's leg. Natsuko and Ruika deliver a combined shoulder tackle and a combined body press to Azusa. Natsuko then hits a senton. Fukigen breaks up the hold and teams up with Azusa, but Natsuko hits Azusa with a cross body. Konami hits Azusa with a knee and a sliding kick. Azusa hits a neckbreaker and hands the ball to Rinami. Rinami hits Konami with a corner knee attack and a missile kick. Konami retaliates, and they exchange elbows. Rinami hits Konami with a dropkick. Fukigen and Azusa launch a series of corner attacks, Azusa delivers a double kick, Fukigen hits a senton, and Rinami hits a diving double knee drop. Konami retaliates, and Rinami goes for a diving foot stomp. When Konami dodged, Natsuko's team launched a spear attack, and Konami responded with a PK and an armlock. Ten minutes had passed. When Rinami escaped, Konami went for a fisherman suplex. When Rinami resisted, Fukigen and Azusa intervened, and Rinami delivered a big boot and a Northern Lights suplex. Konami kicked up and Rinami went for a Manji Gatame. Konami countered with a sleeper hold. Rinami countered with a Manji Gatame, and went to the ground for a Hydrangea, but Ruanka broke it up at the ropes. Konami brought out a spray, but Rinami kicked it away, and after a double kick from Azusa, Rinami slammed her down. Konami countered with a diving double knee drop, but Ruanka made the break up in time. Konami dodged Rinami's big boot and delivered a high kick, shouting "Don't underestimate me!" and a German suplex. She declared it was the finish and delivered a triangle kick. When Rinami countered, Konami went for a Triangle Lancer. However, Azusa interfered and Rinami rolled her up. With an assist from Fukigen, Rinami rolled her up again. Rinami went for a Jackknife but it was interrupted. Fukigen and Azusa teamed up but Natsuko and Ruanka separated them, and Konami declared she was going for the finish and took her back. Rinami countered and delivered a big boot. 15 minutes had passed. As Rinami charged, Ruanka hit her with a box from under the ring, and Konami applied a body scissors sleeper hold. When Rinami escaped, Konami delivered a German suplex and a buzzsaw kick, declaring it was over. When Rinami countered, Konami went for a Triangle Lancer. Rinami gave up and Konami won.
Konami: "Hey, Rinami, is that all you've got? Is all your bravado just empty words? I'm so disappointed that it ends like this. I'm starting to doubt if you and I are even related by blood. Well, I'm even scarier in the real thing. You can run away now if you want."
Rinami: "You think I'm all talk and all bravado? You're my big sister, and you don't know anything! I lost today, but I'm going to take that belt from your waist, so there's no way I'm running away!"
Konami: "Rinami, you're full of fighting spirit today. Well, I'll prove that soon enough. When we're facing each other, your gentle big sister turns into a devil. Look forward to it. The end!"
Rina's comments:
"I challenged Shiro for the title, and I said there was a little time before then, so I asked for a preliminary match, and this result is really, really disappointing, but just now on the mic Konami said I was all talk, the worst thing I could hear, that I'm all talk and all enthusiasm, she doesn't understand anything. But it has only fueled me more, and I'm not so unwilling to give up after this loss, I didn't challenge for Shiro's belt with that level of resolve. I'm serious about winning the belt, and I think that if I wear the belt, the landscape of Stardom, well, it might sound cliché, will change the most. There's one more preliminary match scheduled at Korakuen Hall in four days, so I'll make sure to win that and prepare for the title match. It's frustrating."
Konami's comment
: "Hey Rinami, you were full of energy again today. But did you learn anything today? You're all talk and still a long way from winning this singles belt. I was right there beside you last year, watching how hard you worked. That's why it's so unlike you to lose to me so easily in this preliminary match. I wonder what kind of fight we'll have for this belt? Will you disappoint me, or will you at least entertain me a little? Which will it be?"
