World of Stardom champion Suzu Suzuki won the final preliminary match with her "most beloved partner."
In the main event, she faced off against Starlight Kid and Natsupoi's "Team Mutual Love." Her partner, "X," was Natsuko Tora of HATE
Suzuki, who is scheduled to defend his title against Kid at the Ota Ward tournament on October 29th, two days later, has singled out Tora, with whom he had a fierce battle for the World Championship at the Yokohama Budokan on September 12th, and with whom he has developed a special feeling
However, Tora was not enthusiastic about it. From the moment he entered the ring, Suzuki dragged him in against his will, and in the end, the entire Mi Vida Loca team had to pull him into the ring
Even in a match, things don't go smoothly right away. "Natsuko, let's go!" Suzuki shouted, throwing Kid into the ropes, but Natsupoi blocked the combined attack. Instead, she was hit simultaneously by Kid's standing moonsault and Natsupoi's standing Fairial Gift
However, when the fight spilled outside the ring, it was a different story. Suzuki and Tora went on a rampage, each utilizing their respective strengths. Suzuki threw Kid into the seats, and his rough attacks shifted the momentum in his favor
They performed the same moves in the ring and simultaneously launched sentons. Having let go of his inhibitions, Tora cornered Kid with thrusts and then caught Natsupoi in a sleeper hold
However, Team Mutual Love wasn't going to stay silent. When Suzuki's lariat hit Kid, who was being held in a headlock by Tora, the two of them went for a plancha together. Kid delivered a spinning frog splash, then used Natsupoi as a springboard to execute a combined Shiranui. He then followed up with a moonsault press, but Tora jumped in to break it up
It was the unconventional champions who showed their strength at the crucial moment. Suzuki and Tora took down both opponents with a double spear, and Suzuki followed up with a tequila shot and a lariat on Kid
"Natsuko, fly!"
Responding to Suzuki's command, Tora delivered a heavy press to Kid. Suzuki immediately followed up with a German suplex hold, securing the three-count
The champion, who had secured a direct victory over the challenger in the final preliminary match, was beaming with pride. "So, how was that special preliminary match you were hoping for? It's a shame you lost, especially since we were a team that loved each other," he taunted Kid
Kid responded, "Natsupoi, I'm sorry. But I'm definitely going to win on the 29th. I'm going to take that belt from Suzu. I'm definitely going to achieve a Grand Slam." She vowed to turn the tables in Ota Ward
Meanwhile, Suzuki still had one more task to complete. Calling out to the audience, "Did you have fun today?", she called back Tora, who was about to leave the ring
"Remember when Natsu was absent the other day? I stepped in for her then. What did you think?"
When Tora simply replied "Thank you," Suzuki looked pleased and said, "I knew Natsuko liked me. I love you too." However, Tora had something he wanted to say
While grateful that someone had filled the void left by her absence, she objected to Suzuki's ambiguous remarks at the Korakuen Hall event the previous week, where she withheld the name of her partner
"A lot of names were being mentioned on X. You contacted me and asked me to do it, and I said 'okay.' But did you consider how I felt before coming here today?"
Even when faced with a valid point, Suzuki remained unfazed. "But you answered the phone on the first ring," she revealed, then added, "So I'm sorry. Let's wrap things up together."
The two posed together at the end. Having confirmed their mutual feelings, Suzuki gained momentum heading into the Ota Ward showdown for the red belt
Suzu Suzuki: "Didn't I tell you? Natsuko loves me. And I love Natsuko too.
Which means... 'Team Mutual Love?'"
When Natsuko was about to use the microphone for the last time, she got so embarrassed that she ran away, so I was wandering around looking for her the whole time. Look at this! I'm drenched in sweat!
Starlight Kid. I've been saying for ages that I want this belt
If you lose again today, that's no good, right? You won't be able to win, right? This world championship belt isn't easy. Your pro wrestling career or how much you love pro wrestling doesn't matter. The strongest one wins it
So, it's on the 29th in Ota Ward. Everyone, please look forward to it. I'm going to go look for Natsuko now! 💕"
Natsupoi: "I wanted to win this important preliminary match for Kicchan together, but I'm sorry I couldn't support you properly. Really. It's frustrating, but Suzu and Natsukopoi were on opposite sides of the field today.
It's frustrating to see them, but... I guess
we'll just have to have the second generation of Team Mutual Love take over."
SLK: "Why, why, why? Team Mutual Love is a tag team of me and Natsupoi, right? There's no such thing as succession!
I mean, I don't want to end it like this, losing like this. I said it might be the last time, but if we can team up again, I want to do it.
I won't give up Team Mutual Love.
Two months left on the Bai Poi Road? Before Natsupoi retires, I, as her contemporary, will wear the red belt. I'll wear it before she retires. Watch me achieve the Grand Slam."
