Natsupoi and Shingo Takagi (New Japan Pro-Wrestling) secured a spectacular victory in their first-ever husband-and-wife tag team match. In a special mixed tag team match, they faced Yuna Mizumori and Hirooki Goto (New Japan Pro-Wrestling) of the "Goto Revolutionary Army." Despite repeated misfires, the couple ultimately won the match with their combined move, "MADE IN JAPAN-ish."
The match started with a fast-paced exchange between Natsupoi and Mizumori, followed by a clash between Takagi and Goto in the Stardom ring. Their intense, physical battle thrilled the crowd
The husband-and-wife tag team immediately showcased their teamwork. Takagi lifted Natsupoi and threw her towards Goto. They attacked with a move they had also shown in the open practice, but their subsequent sandwich lariat was a misfire. Natsupoi, having taken the brunt of her husband's powerful arm, was then caught by her opponent
Mizumori and Goto unleashed a barrage of drums on Natsupoi's back. Takagi's attack to rescue her also accidentally hit Natsupoi again, showing that the husband-and-wife tag team was not working in sync. Nevertheless, with Takagi's support, Natsupoi managed to hit Goto with a face crusher, turning the tables
When Takagi and Goto were back at each other, Takagi picked up Mizumori as well and slammed both of them down. Then he picked up Natsupoi and threw her away again. This time he caught Goto
The fierce exchange, featuring Takagi's Pumping Bomber and Goto's Ushigoroshi, continued beyond 10 minutes. Mizumori also unleashed a sliding lariat on Takagi. After landing six "Kumamoto's Unsinkable Battleship" moves, his opponent remained unbroken until Goto's reverse GTR provided support, finally bringing him down
After receiving the tag, Natsupoi executed a diving body attack and then caught Mizumori in a Christo submission hold. Takagi also applied a Cobra Twist to Goto, creating a highlight moment with both husband and wife using submission holds
Furthermore, when Natsupoi attempted a German suplex on Mizumori, Takagi jumped in from behind to attempt their combined move, the Mayuyama. However, only Natsupoi was thrown. Once again, their teamwork fell apart, and they were subjected to a barrage of attacks from the Goto Revolutionary Army
Nevertheless, Natsupoi continued to fight back, exchanging pins with Mizumori. When she attempted a German suplex again, this time Takagi and Natsupoi successfully executed a Mayuyama suplex. Buoyed, Natsupoi slammed her head into the corner mat to psych herself up and then delivered a Fairial Gift
Takagi eliminated Goto with a Pumping Bomber, and finally, the two lifted Mizumori up and unleashed a "MADE IN JAPAN-esque" collaboration. The newly formed husband-and-wife tag team snatched the victory
Natsupoi had just failed in her challenge for Mizumori's High Speed Championship at the Korakuen Hall event on October 20th. She avenged that defeat by teaming up with her husband and celebrated with a smile as she secured a victory
After the match, the couple lightened the mood with their unique banter
Natsupoi thanked her opponents, saying, "Yunamon, Goto-san, thank you so much for today." She then addressed Mizumori, saying, "Yunamon, following our high-speed match last time, thank you so much for putting up with my selfishness on my Bye-Poi Road again today."
Mizumori responded, "I was worried about the bond between the two of them until the fight, but I was relieved to see that they have a strong bond," and advised the couple, "If you ever fight, remember this match, the one you had with the Goto Revolutionary Army." However, some people commented, "That might just make them fight even more."
When Natsupoi prompted Takagi with, "Takagi-san, is there anything you want to say?", Takagi began by saying, "Hey, Poi-san! You have to keep things under control!", but quickly corrected himself, saying, "It's my fault. It's my fault." He then apologized, saying, "I was told to apologize, so I'll apologize before going to the locker room. I'm sorry!" The couple's banter was perfectly in sync even in the ring
