Suzuki Suzu: German Suplex Hold

*Successfully defended their title for the third time

MATCH REPORT

World of Stardom Champion Suzu Suzuki won a grueling match to successfully defend her red belt. Despite struggling against challenger Starlight Kid's attacks on her right leg, she ultimately delivered three consecutive German suplexes, securing her third successful title defense

The champion's relentless attack was particularly striking in the early stages. He immediately unleashed a powerbomb on the apron, and took control of the fight even outside the ring. With a confident expression, he spit water from his mouth and then stole Kid's signature move with a standing moonsault. He shook not only his opponent's body but also his mind

But Kid wasn't going to stay silent. He changed the momentum with a quebrada, followed by a knee crusher and a standing moonsault in return. He targeted the champion's right leg and unleashed a barrage of attacks

Suzuki was hit with a Dragon Screw over the ropes and writhed in pain, clutching his right leg. As he lost his balance, Kid followed up with a Kitcherman and a Shiranui. He then applied a Stretch Muffler and finished him off with a Black Tiger Divine Punishment

Cornered, Suzuki blocked the subsequent moonsault with a kenzan (a type of headbutt). Finally landing a tequila shot, she found an opening to counterattack. She threw Momo☆Latch with a German suplex, but Momo☆Latch withstood it and followed up with a Liger Bomb

Kid also showed his fierce determination to win the belt. From the Eternal Four, a top-rope reverse Frankensteiner, he went for the Black Tiger Kick Kill, the move that had defeated Suzuki in the semi-finals of the 5★STAR GP final tournament. He once again put the champion in a difficult position

Even so, Suzuki's eyes were not dead. She stubbornly escaped to the ropes, and even after being hit with a moonsault and a tiger suplex hold, she refused to be counted to three. She blocked the star suplex and slammed Kid off the corner when he attempted a superplex tiger driver

When Kid rose again, the champion executed a superplex dolphin buster. With the challenger's mouth stained red with blood, the champion pounced on him

Kid continued to look for an opportunity to win until the very end, enduring Kid's Momo☆Latch, and then Suzuki unleashed a lariat. Even when Kid countered with two consecutive German suplexes, Suzuki didn't release the clutch. She finished him off with a third German suplex hold for the three count. Despite the damage to her right leg, her determination to win the red belt allowed her to overcome her challenger

After the match, Suzu Suzuki named Maika as her next challenger. However, Rina, the winner of the 5★STAR GP, intervened and demanded that the champion and Maika compete for the "right to challenge" her. The battle for the red belt suddenly began to move

Having successfully defended her title for the third time, Suzuki had someone she desperately wanted to fight. "After Utami, then Natsuko, and now Kid, there's someone I really want to face in Stardom." The name she mentioned was Maika

After winning the 5★STAR GP, he was defeated by the opponent in the World Championship match held at Ryogoku. "I just can't shake off the frustration from that time," he revealed, and when Maika appeared, he challenged her to a rematch with the belt on the line, saying, "We've fought a lot. I can pretty much guess what you're thinking. Let's put this on the line."

Maika had been waiting for those words. Having lost in the 4-Way match, she thought she didn't have the right to challenge him. Nevertheless, she responded, "I've been fighting you ever since you came to Stardom. Even so, I want to fight you again and again. So, first of all, thank you for mentioning my name today."

Of course, it didn't end with just gratitude. He declared, "I know everything about you, so I'm confident I can get a three-count and take this belt anytime, anywhere," and pressed the champion, "When? Where?"

Then Rinami appeared. "I'm sure I'm the only challenger for that red belt next!" she declared. Leveraging her victory in this year's 5★STAR GP, she set her sights on the red belt as her next target

However, she has no intention of stopping Suzuki and Maika from fighting. She said, "If you two want to fight each other, that's fine, do as you please," and then declared, "I will challenge for the red belt at Ryogoku on December 29th, my final match of the year. That's a done deal. So, you two should compete for the right to challenge me."

It was a bold and audacious demand, even towards the champion, to compete for the right to challenge her. Suzuki pointed out, "Usually, in these kinds of matches, two challengers fight each other to challenge the champion. I'm the champion right now." When she confirmed, "So, Maika and I fight, and whoever wins gets to fight you at Ryogoku?", Rina immediately replied, "That's right."

Suzuki also acknowledged her confident attitude, saying, "It's crazy! But you're really interesting." The champion herself agreed to the plan where she would face Maika in the title match first, and the winner would then face Rina at the Ryogoku tournament on December 29th

First up is the rematch between Suzuki and Maika. And beyond that, Rina awaits. The three women's intentions intertwine as they head towards the final showdown of the year for the red belt
