MATCH REPORT

World of Stardom Champion Suzu Suzuki won her first and last preliminary match. In a six-person tag team match, she teamed with Mitsuyoshi Amasaki and Starlight Kid to face Natsuko Tora, Saya Kamitani, and Azusa Inaba of HATE

 

This match served as a double preview for the World Championship match (champion Suzuki vs. Tora) and the Goddess Championship match (AZM & Amasaki Mitsuyoshi vs. Watanabe Momo & Kamitani Saya) at the Yokohama Budokan on September 12th

 

Suzuki and Tora engaged in a brawl outside the ring, exchanging lariats in a hand-to-hand combat. Inspired by this, Tensaki and Kamiya also joined in the fierce battle

 

Despite being subjected to a fierce attack from the enemy forces, Suzuki unleashed a tequila shot on Azusa. She then eliminated Tora with a German suplex. Finally, she secured the three-count victory over Azusa with a spectacular atomic drop

After the match, Suzuki sent a message to her challenger, saying, "Natsuko, this might be our first and last preliminary match. Back then, Natsuko looked at me with those straightforward, clear eyes, like a kitten in love, but I didn't really get that feeling today. I guess if she becomes the leader of HATE, she'll hand over the reins to her juniors, huh? She's such a kind person, really."

Meanwhile, Kid announced, "This isn't a preliminary match, but of course I want to win the main event. I'll be going to Mexico for a little over a week starting this week! I'm sorry that I'll have to miss a few shows in Japan, but I'm happy to say that a title match for the CMLL Women's World Championship has been decided.
